Hi Charles, could you please release your Course addon also for us on the self-hosting? I don't mind not having the features which are dependent on the tech that's for the cloud. I really need an app that members can use to sell courses on my site. Similar to the downloads app, where the site owners receive a percentage from the sale. My site is very young and small, and I just can't afford your cloud package that has all the applications I need.

Hi, I would like to point out in advance that I am starting this topic to hear the official position of IPS, not to make fun of etc. You constantly negate external infrastructures in favor of your cloud. And how will you explain your TOTAL DOWNTIME 12h 42m in the last 7 days? I would like to add that my dedicated server has had 100% UPTIME for a year. But if I was paying that much money for a cloud and seeing a 500 error for 8 hours, I would have given up on the service pretty quickly. Now let's imagine that during downtime some big business forum has important Live Topics?

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.

There's also something else coming:)

The upcoming release will include a feature to NOT update the URL when the topic title changes, which has the benefit that the old url is kept instead of having a 301 redirect to the new URL !
Unfortunately it's a global setting, so in the first version it won't be possible to set if it should be changed or not(like there are legit reasons where you would want to change it), but it's on the TODO list for one of the upcoming releases.
I don't remember who requested it via PM, but here we go:) Happy New Year!

You're able to see the current pages keywords and the avg position where it ranks on Google.

 
In a future release we'll log the keywords and use them to generate automatic/semo automatic internal links to get even a much better boost
 

Aha i am not sure about how things work on cloud plan...
Though checked the addon, the code seems okay for PHP8 but seems like the hooks are not compatible with latest version of IPS. (I have not tried installing it, only read a little of code in my free time). Thats the only reason i think it's crashing the system.
Anyway, IPS team should be able to help you Or ask them to revert to an old backup where everything was correct and then uninstall the non essential add-ons and upgrade the forum.

Tried Login to marketplace still says "The license key is not recognised. (invalid_request)".
Anybody else has it started working for you?

When I tried to upgrade my site to the latest version, it told me:
The license key is not valid. Please contact account assistance.
While the next renewal time is on March 29, 2023.
Also my another suite, the same problem.

Getting lots of logs for classes I have that extends global classes, such as \Exception, \DateTime, etc.
You would have seen this yourself if you hadn't excluded your own code from being scanned 🙂
The class \Braintree\Transaction\AddressDetails extends \Braintree\Transaction\Instance, but the parent class couldn't be loaded. The class \IPS\core\api\GraphQL\Types\ProfileFieldGroupType extends \IPS\core\api\GraphQL\Types\ObjectType, but the parent class couldn't be loaded. A class in an app extends the class \IPS\Node\Api\GraphQL\ObjectType for which no file /home/sites/dev/www/473b3/system/Node/Api/GraphQL/ObjectType/ObjectType.php exists! The method scanner skipped comparing that file to any of its subclasses The class \IPS\nexus\Hosting\Exception extends \RuntimeException, but the parent class couldn't be loaded. The class \IPS\nexus\CommissionRule\Iterator extends \FilterIterator, but the parent class couldn't be loaded. The class \Symfony\Component\Finder\Iterator\SizeRangeFilterIterator extends \FilterIterator, but the parent class couldn't be loaded. The class \Laminas\EventManager\Exception\DomainException extends \DomainException, but the parent class couldn't be loaded. The class \PHPMailer\PHPMailer\Exception extends \Exception, but the parent class couldn't be loaded.  
And it doesn't understand imports.
The class \IPS\toolbox\Slasher extends \IPS\toolbox\Singleton, but the parent class couldn't be loaded. The class \IPS\toolbox\modules\admin\build\build extends \IPS\toolbox\modules\admin\build\Controller, but the parent class couldn't be loaded. use IPS\Dispatcher\Controller; <...> class _build extends Controller {  
Would also be nice if there was a way to trigger the full compatibility scan without having to create an issue in a hook in order to see what's wrong. Two of my apps were disabled in this update, but the block on the support page said everything was fine. After creating an issue with a hook it would tell me the arguments for getItemsWithPermissions was incorrect in the full scan popup.
The system log fills up with ~15 pages of the above log entries whenever I hit the support page. Going through all that in order to see what could have triggered the scanner is not gonna happen.

Since I am using Pages databases a lot, I always run into the same problems. Here are two related to filters. (I could probably add more, but I was dealing with these recently.)
Checkbox as a filter.
This option is unfortunately missing. I often need to give optional filter choices, e.g. as here on Amazon:

With Pages, there is no option to do this. The Yes/No field isn’t optional. Using it would only ever allow one choice in the filter set (Yes or No). Filtering across all records without a choice for this field would become impossible. So it’s almost unusable. The Checkbox Set for some reason can be used as expected, but it only makes sense for multiple choices per field. For one field, it would still create the “select all/none” interface. 
Solution: Allow checkbox field to be a filter, where no selection doesn’t do anything and a selection show all records with this checkbox checked.
Pages relationship fields as filter.
I always struggle with this one as well. This field makes Pages database so powerful and gives us a competitive advantage over other software. 
Filters per radio, select box and so on are fine when there is a fixed set of options the admin can set up in advance. But what if that is not the case? What if the list of options needs to grow and needs their own database entries as well? For example, the publishers and authors of a book database. If they are set up as related databases, it’s impossible to filter the book records, because the relationship field cannot be used as a filter. But it is something users would expect. 
Solution: Allow the relationship field to be used as filter with one or multiple options. 

A ticket has now been created on this so that this can be looked into

Purchase the app. it will be useful to have a search bar on the detector results. 
Sometimes you need to check a specific user - And start looking if a detector record exists on tens of pages is frustrating.

Great to see this add-on 🙂 though i have some suggestion for it if you can add some features in it. Instead of admin CP i want this on public end. Like an option with quote post that anyone who has permission to view dupes can click and check if any duplicate accounts exist for that user in db or not.
 

Would be great to have an option for using Amazon SES API like sendgrid or when sparkpost was available. I’m using Amazon SES over SMTP, but I believe using their API would be better.
