How this isn’t a debate on the team with half Americans and some British… 😂

Does this mean that the Invision forum software will not function correctly on a mobile device at this point?
As above to what I said. The forum software is fully responsive and will adapt to any screen size. If you resize your window while viewing the forums, you'll see what I mean.

Dropped it 10 years ago. It was crap then, and it’s still crap now. Caused nothing but problems. It’s old, out dated, we’ve all moved on. We have a modern and fully responsive layouts now. Absolutely no need for it.

Sorry - that was my fault. I was doing backend server upgrades that host this site and our various backend functions like building zips for download.
But things should be faster and more secure now so there's that!
Thank you kindly good sir! ☺️

Can he go to PM’s, create a new message and see if the editor managed to save the text?

Do you think I would release something without test? 🙂
That's the issue:
The error doesn't show up in 4.5 but shows in 4.6 under PHP 8.
Thank you for confirming. -

Take a look at your server logs!
My guess is that your php8 installation is missing some mandatory modules ( I’ve seen few tickets with missing php-mbstring module on their PHP 8 installations)
Any issues with YouTube embeds? I ran PHP 8, and only one topic wouldn't load which had YouTube videos within. Changed to 7.4 and the page loaded fine. Doing some more testing currently, but I thought I'd ask here while people are talking about PHP8.

I just submitted a new version with a fix for 4.6 (method changed by IPS in 4.6) and allowing anonymous posting.
There's an issue with Quizzes and PHP 8. With the 4.5 version installed and enabled, my site doesn't load. Disabled, the site works fine. Has Quizzes been tested with the new update?

Dear if you have nothing useful to add, please leave.
Sorry 'love', take your own advice. This topic isn't helpful in the slightest, utter waste of time.

I did... they are investigating but after 4.6. it seems that it only gives bugs
So, why have you made a post then, if they're already looking at it...? 🙄

Any chance this is getting updated for 4.6.x?

Nope, still having issues.
Can anybody confirm (or unconfirm) that this might have anything to do with the new innodb databse requirements? I'm also having problems with big files giving me a -200 error. But if I'm not mistaken, IPS uses chunked file uploads?
Mod_Security on? This used to cause me the -200 error for file uploads.

Could also run it manually in a separate browser to speed it all up, this is what I do 90% of the time so it's done and out the way.

Facebook login action required!?
in Technical Problems

Not that this helps anyone, but I've scrapped all login handles now. Sick to death of all the changes and how difficult it is to keep them running. IPS registrations only now, giving us full control over everything. I truly think it's the way to go now. I've even removed all the promoted article social parts and just push the posts to our home page.
I cannot wait for FB, etc to just die. Die already will you!
