The answer to that question is, it depends on how your hosting is set up. These are questions that can only be answered for certain by your host -
There is nothing else you need to do. You will see what Nathan pointed out above, and indeed, we do not advise this is ever done on a live environment

It can take some time for it to come through to your admin CP as this is only updated periodically

Please diaable all 3rd party items as mentioned sbove. Yours does indeed seem to be being caused by 3rd patty, as you can see by the "hook93" part

Connection is being refused by the server. Its not actually getting as far as the credentials. I would say here however, you need to check that file, as its either not present or out of date.

This is correct. We no longer provide that service unfortunately. To update however, you would simply click on the upgrade button within your admin CP and follow this through. Upgrading is actually quite a simple process these days. If you have any issues, of course just let us know

As mentioned above, we need to be clear on what you are actually trying to do here. I actually cleared the URL for you on your test instance there. Are you ensuring you use your test key for whatever you are trying to do? Thats your usual key, but with -TESTINSTALL at the end of it

Unrelated in this case, as this was PHP8 not having the minimum required extensions. However thank you for sharing the information as it may be helpful to others

Sorry, its not clear from what you have said there if you have any issues. That sounds to be working correctly

I suspect you enabled PHP 8 after you upgraded, which is why it will have not mentioned in the upgrade

We need the error message itself, rather than just the stack trace. I suspect you are missing the mbstring PHP extension. As mentioned, you need to ensure you have used the requirement checker Edit: I see you have uploaded that now. Indeed you are missing the mbstring php extension, which is a requirement

In the first instance, you need to find out the cause. It is extremely likely if you have just moved to PHP 8 ,you are either missing a requirement, or you have 3rd party items which are not yet compatible with that version of PHP Ensure first of all you have tested with the requirement checker if you have changed PHP version https://invisioncommunity.com/files/file/7046-invision-community-requirements-checker/

You are on self hosted, not on our cloud product. So you will not see this. You would need to be using our cloud product to see this

It actually depends on your scenario to be fair. If for example, the only thing people cant see are forums other than one forum (an example I have used myself) then adding a second group just for permissions can work. It really depends no your own scenario. I certainly get what you are saying though
