It sounds like your server may be proxying. Please try switching on this, and then monitoring. "System>Settings>Advanced Configuration>Trust IP addresses provided by proxies?"

Ensuring your database is corrected before you begin your upgrade. The point which was reached at the end, with checking and ensuring the database is corrected by looking at the support tools (top right of the admin CP) would have likely prevented the issue

I understand you linked to the documentation there, however you also show code that doesnt relate to what is shown in the documentation. Take a look at the example there, which does show the key and how its used -
I have taken a look at this for you, and the error you are getting is relating to the 3rd party application "New Topic Placeholders". You would need to contact the author of that application for a resolution to this

The guide there is actually quite old, and many things have been changed since. I will need to take a look at this, but I believe that no longer exists. Gradients you would need to add within CSS

Could I ask how it is you are determining this? Your hosting company is incorrect. The uploads folder does indeed contain the javascript, CSS and images by default -
Ensure you add the line it asks you to at the end, if it does

Users will not need moderation for quoting a guest. Do you have any other kind of moderation set for standard users?

You would need to switch to PHP 8.1, as 8.2 is not yet supported. Once that is done, please try again. With regard support, this was moved to the community quite some time ago. We are staffed here too, so dont worry, we're still around 🙂

Ah, my apologies. I was responding based on what you were talking about there, but hadnt actually looked at your package there. You are indeed already cloud hosted, so things like phpmyadmin, cron, SSH, Putty, and CPanel are not something you need to worry about. Backups are also something you dont need to worry about.
