I'd recommend removing the online user's widget and restricting access to the online page, assuming this is why you want to spoof it, as not to give new users the impression your site is dead. Having fake users does nothing but discredit your community. It's very obvious as well, no matter how hard you try to hide it.
Being the SEO Guru you are, you should know having relative headers and tags will increase the click-through rate from search engines. You should also try and get as many authentic backlinks as possible to improve your site's reputation, so it ranks higher in search results.
Since you're already willing to drop some cash, invest in a few google ad campaigns, and bid on some keywords to increase traffic. If the topic of your website is too vague, focus on something very specific so your ad ranking is as high as possible. So if your site is about apples and oranges, focus on apples and worry about oranges later.
If you'd prefer the plugin anyways then by all means. I'm not here to judge, just sharing my wisdom. 🙂

This is a rather annoying change and has caused me so many issues. Can we get this back? I've got so many apps stuck in limbo because I can't install from the acp because they don't support 4.5 and I can't update them manually because it's listed as a marketplace app. Is there not a way to manually set an app to custom?

We agree. The widget / drag n' drop system is planned for improvements at some point.

I believe this measure is in place to prevent users from having multiple installs with one license. For example, I can install the software on multiple sites and use the same license to install updates while only having one license.

My facebook promotion stopped working awhile ago on 4.4. Glad I'm not the only one having issues with it.

I don't seem to have the Can Purchase File to Other Member option in Downloads -> Paid File Settings.
Also, as @GTAPoliceMods mentioned, this would make a nice commerce plugin as well 🙂

@Heosforo Sorry, I'm not a complete noob but for whatever reason, your templates saved as random numbers so I wasn't actually sure where the template was.

- Open categoryRow and replace all code with this:
category_code.zip

@TheJackal84 That is how it works yes. But what happens if they need to re download it in 7 months? I myself have been in situations where I've had to completely reinstall my hooks/applications but let me just be clear I'm not trying to bully you into rethinking your pricing as this is your content not mine. I noticed you were pretty new to the community and wanted to try to shift you before you landed in the dark side.
Your pricing is fair but just remember that having said renewal you're liable for dedicated updates otherwise anyone whom renewed can request a refund via IPS as forcing members to rebuy the same content over and over is a no go.
