  1. You can use the quick translation tool to edit the text directly on the front end:
  2. Sounds like a DNS problem, but that can be on your end (i.e. the server) or the user’s end. I would start by checking everything here: https://www.whatsmydns.net This tells you if your site address can be resolved and accessed from various places around the world.
  3. No. It’s not an image at all. It’s from the Font Awesome webfont and it’s called from the theme templates as: <i class="fa fa-rss-square"></i>
  4. You’re not allowed to say that. What are SEO companies supposed to sell if Google takes care of things itself?
  5. That orange button is for content from your site. It is not meant for external content.
  6. Yes. Make the forum accessible for all members, but turn this option off.
  7. Fully answered one post above yours. 😉
  8. Well, you want that turned on, not off.
  9. This collection of errors does not point to text being set too small in general. It points to a page that was (visually) broken while being crawled, e.g. because the CSS wasn’t loaded at all.
  10. Is that already wrapped with anything in the template? Like a headline or something? It needs some kind of wrapper to work. DIV, H3, P … <h3 class="ipsTruncate ipsTruncate_line">{$record->_title}</h3>
  11. Just to clarify again, since I started this topic: I did NOT suggest to shadow ban members, so their future posts all get hidden. I do not like this functionality at all. What I suggested was an option to shadow ban specific posts (which have already been written) as an alternative to hiding/deleting them.
  12. What you are looking for is called “accordion”. You might have more success searching for this term.
  13. Moderating the first two posts of every new member and blocking the IP once they posted spam. They will eventually give up.
  14. It’s not intentional. I can improve that in the future.
  15. That’s a weird request I don’t understand without further information.
  16. You mean the site logo or a topic-specific image? For the latter ☞ https://invisioncommunity.com/files/file/8992-og-image-for-forum-topics/
  17. Yeah, it’s an Apple issue. They need to extend the active area for those thin strips or they couldn’t be reached at all. It’s even worse with the Apple phones without a physical home button. The strip at the bottom deactivates necessary functionality in many apps which have buttons there. But I guess the padding could be adjusted a bit to mitigate this problem in the header. @Rikki
  18. You can add an upload field to your database and set the permissions of that field accordingly.
  19. Okay, no content feeds. Got it. I still don’t get it. You mean like static text describing the sections? You are being very vague. “necessary information”, “what he really needs” could mean anything. And what is stopping you from doing these things right now with Pages? Again, you can set a custom homepage and you can put what you want on it. If that is lacking somehow, you would need to tell IPS what you need on top of the current features. P.S. Some more styling options for blocks are coming soon: https://invisioncommunity.com/news/product-updates/45-page-builder-widgets-r1196/
  20. It’s IPS corporate homepage for selling their product—it has little to do with a community homepage for users of the community software. You can set any app you want as homepage. As mentioned before, you can set a Pages page and you can fully control what’s on it.
  21. But what are the necessary information? They already have a system in place for a custom homepage. You can use the Pages app, create an empty page with it and set it as homepage. Then you can add widgets with feeds from areas that are important on your site (“latest topics", “latest articles”…) as well as static information. Even group based content, like a widget just for guests.
  22. The “Yes” is your “content” field. You can only make it a custom field, if you assign the “content” field type to another field. In theory, you can … create another text field make it the content field make it “not required” and then remove all permissions from that field so it won’t show up anywhere on the front end
