Adding to this.  Banned members for us include spammers which may have left nasty images and such in their profile fields (visible on their profile) without having posted anything on the site.  I’m sure other admins have had this (SEO member names with random profile spam).  Flagging them does not remove this content.  We prefer to clean up those banned members which include lots of spammers for us.  

Just like the prior poster. We’ve been with IPB for 20+ years and tens of millions of posts. Hopefully we have something to add. Right now around 50% of signups are SEO profile spam accounts that never post.  It’s silly and I refuse to fully lock down members their first day or two and drive new folks away with a bad experience.  Credit to our mods who review new accounts daily for this. 

It's worth checking your browser's dev tools > console to see if anything is preventing JS from running.

One notice, when normally want to check for app/plugin update from:
System - Application - Check for updates
This app do not show any indicated for update, so when I saw you update the app and still not notify on the admincp as I said, only way was to click on the app and then click on "Marketplace" then you will see the update and can update this app.
I notice this some time ago but now I can confirm the issue.

I found one issue now, every time I save the content, return back to the app settings, the content are gone, been doing this for many time now.

This is an old issue for us. We can limit signatures only by number of lines, but this is insufficient for us, as some users are abusing this and posting really long lines, so their signatures are huge.
It would make more send for us to limit the number of characters, not lines.
Another suggestion for signatures would be that links to contents such as topics wouldn't be converted to their "embedded" version, but kept a normal URL link. Currently we use a custom plugin to fix this, and it would be nice if this was a core feature.

Just keep both options, then! Max number of lines AND max number of chars.
We have this disabled here.

The language suggestion - that's already fixed in my next version.
This, however, will not be as this application is specific to the Editor and will remain so.
Your suggestion would be better handled instead with a hook on the field that performs custom validation on submission of the topic, and returns an error if the validation fails.

This choice should also pop up when accepting account deletion request (as mentioned in another feedback topic).

If we delete a user from its profile in the ACP, we are asked what to do with the user's content (delete/hide/leave).
However, clicking the "X" button in the member's list (see below) performs the "leave" option. This is really annoying! The system could show a popup asking what we want to do with the content the user posted.
Not to mention that there is no way to mass delete spammers/banned users, functionality that has been already asked by several board owners... 😉

(This has already been suggested in the past multiple times. I still hope to see this small enhancement in v4 as it would be a huge timesaver.)

Good day. I was curious if we could in the future add a "Select All" box for Spammers and Banned in order to delete them all at once? At this point we have to delete each one individually and it can take a considerable amount of time if you have a few dozen. Thanks!

@Marc Stridgen @Daniel F Nevermind, I found the culprit... In the past I manually deleted some members using a MySQL query, and I haven't deleted the corresponding records in the core_follow table. Therefore, the issue is entirely my fault. I no longer will delete users using queries, as this breaks things up... Thanks!

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.

In the cookies policy page (/cookies), e.g. https://invisioncommunity.com/cookies
The header "Third Party Cookies" should be displayed only if the "Third Party Cookie Details" field in the ACP > Terms & Privacy Policy > Cookies page has been filled out.
It doesn't make sense a header with no corresponding text under it.

Thank you for the suggestion/idea. I really like it. I 've noted it and I will be adding it in the new version. 
A.f.a.i.k. guests and google bots should be treated the same. Doing otherwise can result in a forum being blacklisted from their services.

@Miss_B I liked the concept of this app. A few questions and ideas.
1. A setting to automatically configure banned users to "no one".
2. When guests can't view the profile, did you set the noindex meta tag, so it gives a hint to Google/Bing that they shouldn't be there?

Minimally but yes. If you have several guests in the same region, hitting the same page URL, within 15 min, it will indeed only count the first view which caches the page.

Now, open your community in incognito mode and let me know if you see a difference in page loading speed. Generally, the page should load right away.

Not an issue for us here -- we don't allow guests to change themes or language anyway.
