Spammers like to fill the "About Me" section of their profiles with links, which hurts our SEO. I suggest some mechanism to prevent profiles from showing fields until first approve content is posted, or something like that.

Use the guide above to setup a promotion for new members. Use the "Profile Field Per User Group" app to grant access to the promoted group to edit the "About Me" field. 

Discoverability in games is getting harder and harder. Our members use our site to funnel traffic to their own websites and game pages. They tend to get very large numbers of profile views, like tens of thousands. If I could make the "About Me" tab the default tab selected when the profile is viewed, more of those profile views would convert to clicks going to the URLs they are trying to promote.
So they post images, videos, and blogs on our site, that leads to profile views, and that leads to more traffic for them.

Sorry, I don't have plan for this feature. It's so complex for me. I'm working for the jquery method to get thumbnail.

Now that PayPal is enacting their own unofficial sanctions on other countries, this request is more pressing. Today's it's Russia, who knows what country they will ban tomorrow?

We're trying to nudge our users away from Discord and onto our website, and requiring a separate image thumbnail is just one more annoyance that makes them prefer to post things on Discord.
You think this is not important, but from a user behavior standpoint it's critical.

I would really like to see a unified chat and activity system that can be added as a widget on the main forum page.
The activity stream widget does not include images for blogs/gallery items/videos. It's just a bunch of text information, which is not very enticing.
We're also using Chatbox, with a lot of success, as it eliminates the need for a Discord server. The status updates system could function in this manner, if the process of entering an update was just streamlined a bit.
We have a recent images block, a recent blogs block, etc., but it's difficult to fit everything on the page, and the types of content update at different speeds, so some stuff gets missed while other items hang on the page forever.
It's so obvious there needs to be a unified visual stream of site activity and chatter.

This feature is incredibly confusing, it's just an extra field to enter and you have no idea what you are supposed to type. I still have no idea where these actually show up. It would be nice to disable them. Now there is an extra "General" navigation link showing, but it is showing blog entries that have a different category set??? What the heck is going on here?

Please consider adding a simple admin option to choose the default Code syntax highlighting. HTML being preselected just doesn't fit to many communities and it is so unhandy to select manually something different each time the Code is inserted. Also, users are submitting content fast without even bothering to change the syntax from the menu and I have a lot of work to edit their posts.
