From 7th of June Google blocks all emails which domain doesn’t have a correct SPF record. Received an email about that from my host. Maybe adding your host spf will help:
v=spf1 a mx include:spf.myukcloud.com ip4:5.134.11.72 ip4:5.134.14.73 ~all Adding DKIM and DMARC will make it even better.

Thank you, and apologies. That's something I should check first. That seems to have fixed it.

OK, let's concentrate on the logging in first of all. Have you tested this with the display name rather than email? You couldn't log in before when trying to upgrade, and I feel this is probably what you are having issues with here.

For years IPB has promised site speed increases, and every one that you've delivered to date has turned out to be too little, too late--at least for anyone who is concerned at all about their Google rankings.
Here is a speed test of this very forum thread--and you use CDN with zero ads running--you score a 51%, which is an F for FAILURE:

After mostly CSS changes made with the ability to edit CSS files directly--the feature you just took away from everyone (and with the help of @Adlago), here is a similar forum thread on my site--I have no CDN and am running a large number of graphical ads:

What you see here is a site with mostly CSS changes, and it scores 25% faster than a site that is on a CDN with no ads. How is that possible? Perhaps you need to hire @Adlago because apparently speed improvements are still not on your radar, and now you've gone out of your way to strip the ability for those of us who actually care about this issue to be able to do something about it ourselves.

@opentype Thanks for your opinion and criticism. I appreciate it.
To be fair - I'm using one of your plugins. I've never had an issue with it - it works perfectly on both desktop and mobile, for which I can only thank you - you're doing an excellent job.
On the contrary, I always write what I think. And how you perceive my thoughts is your right.

What do you want me to comment on this? My example is from a site where before optimization all indicators were bad.

Why did you remove direct CSS editing???
The entire suite is full of CSS errors anyway - and now you're complicating any improvement....
    This version is absolute bullfaeces...
No performance improvement, but some absolute crap you've done...
I am so disappointed that I don't know if I will continue to be client...

95% of your base CSS is not used effectively - and every online test shows it. Especially when a site uses external ads.
Also, there are enough ways to combine effectively used css into one css - and notice, without changing the structure of your development - just a small change in loading. Etc.
Any such change, even a small one, involves direct css editing... And a lot of testing and analysis... But it's worth the effort... This can't be done in designer mode, only in direct editing... It's individual for each site, each site uses different resources and requires different tweaks to improve... Etc.
With these restrictions you are now "scoring an own goal"...
    PS. See your site

All this slows down the loading of the site, especially on mobile. With direct editing CSS and ...one more thing, a solution to this delay is found...

Completely understandable, but even just on your site, it would be for the developer to resolve. We can only provide support with the stock product

tnn reacted to Chris Anderson in 4.6.5.1 Release Anomolies
@Jordan InvisionI dropped by the Release Notes page and noted that the 4.6.5.1 version had been released today.  I went over to the client area and it shows that 4.6.5.1 was released yesterday.  I looked at the date of the install files in my archive folder and noted I had already downloaded 4.6.5.1 on 7/28/2021.
Why are you showing a new release date for a version you released two weeks ago? If you released an updated version why didn't you change the version number and alert the ACP that a new version is available to update to?

During the build process, some of the line ending characters changed. It's safe to just keep using your custom.css when asked.

You're so welcome! Glad to help after receiving so much help here myself.
Am posting these instructions, just in case someone else ends up with this problem.
    If you go into AdminCP/Community/Forums/Forums . . .
Find the forum board where this member posted, and click the small Edit/Pencil icon at the right. Click the "Posting Settings" tab. Under the "Posts" settings, be sure that the "Increase content counts" button is toggled to the on position.

    Hello,

I made some changes on default invision theme, and it was not able to upgrade to 4.6 properly, I tried to restore but doesn't worked, them I deleted it 🙂 (yes, I know)

But I don't find anywere the default (this blue and white one) to download.

I appreciate if someone can share with me the default and clear theme of invision .

tnn reacted to The Old Man in Is it safe to upgrade to 4.6.4? Did an error occur?
Hi, if it answers your question, I was able to upgrade from 4.6.3 to 4.6.4 correctly this time via the internal upgrade facility. First time that's worked on 4.6 for me.
All the bugs are still present though, 4.6 should still be in beta testing IMHO.
I still have a locked task coming back to haunt me every time I unlock it from 4.5.4.2 for RSS imports, even though I deleted the actual feed import back in 4.5.4.2!

Uploading 1920x1080 photos into the Gallery, is buggy as hell, a truly horrendous experience. I have plenty of spare RAM available, 40 cores on a 6GB VPS that barely ticks over in terms of load. I'm not uploading straight to S3, and PHP settings and PHP memory all fine. I've been trying to upload 340 photos that 4.6.2 lost on S3 storage and it's taking days, because on 4.6.3 and now still on 4.6.4 it sometimes works, but mostly it fails on the progress bar at 5% when processing them, even if I do just 10 at a time.
I try again and it might work, next batch will fail 3 or 4 times times, then work again. It just suddenly aborts processing them and returns me to the Gallery, with 1 or 2 images having uploaded, which I then have to delete as they are not in the order intended, not that Gallery can sort them correctly anyway. It's agony.
If I try more 20 at a time, I risk more time consuming failures but also I suddenly get dozens of pop up error modals, one for each image I think, and have to abandon the tab:

Honestly, it feels like when you start using it for more than half an hour, barely anything seems to work reliably. I've never known a release like 4.6, aside maybe perhaps the original v4 release, maybe.
I honestly wish BFarber was still at IPS, because he would have been all over this before this unstable release got out of the door.

tnn reacted to Gregsta in How do I get my web site to show on google Search
The images missing is a bug with the downloads it just randomly removes them and It could be the server am on it can be slow at times but I Don't want the cost of a VPS were everything  would work perfectly.I think the server am on is been massively oversold. But I don't care as its half the cost of a VPS
thanks for your advice it was very helpful and well do as you advised.

You can create a new theme in your ACP. It will be just the default one.
Choose Manual Mode, give the name Default, choose who can use it and set as default.
    You're done.
