So I applied the update and I still got an error, I uninstalled and reinstalled and still get an error. If I I disable Forms, the error goes away? Is it your application or something else? Cowboy Denny Posted October 19, 2022 Share Posted October 19, 2022 (edited) Thanks again for your continued support for FORMS app. Your update (1.4.6) has cleared up the PHP8 Incompatible ERROR I was receiving but it brought another error which only displays when FORMS is enabled and goes away as soon as I disabled the FORMS app. And yes I tried three different themes and the same error exists. When i go to "Support" and click on "Incompatible PHP APPS" this is what pops up: Application Forms Mismatching parameter list \IPS\form\Log::getItemsWithPermission() N/A /applications/form/sources/Log/Log.php:730 /system/Content/Item.php:2947 I have THOUSANDS of "App Scanner" logs. Even when I'm not even in the ACP, I think this app scanner thing may be faulty. It's insane trying to shuffle thru it all to find any kind of real log. I'm not real sure where else to look for these errors sadly. I sent you everything I can find. I updated the app earlier and I showed you what happened there. I had to download files from my testing server and upload the old version into my current website to fix it. I am willing to look wherever you would like mt to, just tell me what to look for. I don't have the option of 8.1 so am using 8 with a brand-new, unchanged theme on 4.7.3, all apps other than System and Forms off, and all plugins off. I'm still generating this on every page. I use your forms app. It's very important that I can keep it and the data. I cannot get it to upgrade. I am able to uninstall it and then reinstall a fresh forms app, but if I keep the old one forms app (which doesn't run on ipb4.7) then it won't upgrade. Are you able to help? I trust you were able to renew successfully? For future reference IPS does not give me much control of invoices here, so you will need to contact them for such matters. SJ77 Posted January 25, 2023 Share Posted January 25, 2023 HI The permissions did get zapped. So I set those up again, it helped some but my forum language details are zapped. It's still there but the information is gone. No errors on upgrade but I had to move the folder out of the applications directory after upgrade because a php error with php 8 caused it to white screen only. But I moved it back after fixing the error and then I was able to upgrade but it lost some information along the way. Link to comment

Am still having issues with Forms 1.4.6 clashing with a custom theme on marketplace called CyberApex. I have recently updated my forums to latest IPB 4.7, PHP, Forms and CyberApex. Issues still exist when Forms is enabled and disappear when Forms is disabled. This is the only app/plugin that causes it, including using another Forms marketplace app which has no conflicts. The issues previously when using older versions dating back longer than a year ago would make the block editor on the side disappear as well as make awards pictures appear big on the hover cards as well as other misc issues. This no longer occurs when using updated everything except when hovering on a user the hover card does not appear at all. Also now the block editor tab appears but it is unresponsive (and possible other misc issues not yet noticed). All this disappears when Forms is disabled Any ideas as I really like this theme and its had conflicts with Forms with over a year now with no solutions.
