I have installed 4.1.11 with pages and wish to remove or hide the contact us tab at the bottom of the page or link it to a contact us page I alredy have. Any solution is ok. I have Twilight 4.1.8 set as the default theme if this makes a difference to the answer. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you

We have a group of subforums in a category that are mainly pictorial in content, with walkarounds of various aircraft, and we want to show a list of the latest 5 or 10 on the Page driven home page, with the topic title and a reduced size thumbnail of the first picture in the thread. Clicking on an item/pic in the list should then take them to the source thread. I'm looking to get a custom block made that will drag the title and first pic into this list, in much the same way that the Recent Topics list does for ordinary posts. Anyone fancy giving this a go for us? We have a small budget for the coding, so we're not looking for a free lunch, and there could be more…

I haven't had any luck finding something of this sort, but to sum things up, I'm creating a gallery online store for art/ general merch. The content will be sold under contract between us *the gallery* and the artist. I have written up two separate contracts that I would love to somehow use an IPB based app to keep track of things. Yes I could do things the old fashioned way and have them personally sign the contract and send it in. However to cut back on hours spent going back and forth, id love it if we could have the artist create an account. Adds the Pinterest share service/link to IPS4. Once enabled, a Pinterest icon should appear in your share links. There are several settings under System > Sharing > Pinterest to add Pinterest features such as sharing any image on the page from the share link and/or being able to hover over an image and share directly from there.

There was once a mod called "Living Avatar", where members could buy avatar parts (e.g., clothes, faces, pets, accessories, bodies) and mix and match them. Avatars were the display picture. It was really popular. Can someone take on this project? How much is something like this cost?

I'd like an addons where users get "points" by doing various things: Daily visit/login, reply to topic, create a topic, receive a "like" on a post, upload/download file, attend and event on calendar, (etc., etc.) - where each one of those events triggers a certain amount of points (determined by admin after install) to be added to the users Point total. On top of automatic triggers, I'd like to be able to hold "contests" or "events" in which points can be manually added. Also, I'd like to be able to have "achievements" (ie. login X days in a row, account X-years old, make X amount of posts, (etc., etc.) ) that add a larger amount of Points to the user automatically. …

About This File This plugin will change the behaviour of all PASSWORD fields on IPS4, by allowing the administrator to set the minimum length for the passwords. IPS4 default is 3 characters. IMPORTANT: BE ADVISED THAT EXISTING USERS WITH PASSWORD LENGTH LESS THAN THE SETTING VALUE WON'T BE ABLE TO LOGIN. THEY WILL HAVE TO USE THE RESET PASSWORD FEATURE ON LOGIN SCREEN, BY CLICKING IN THE LINK "FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD?".

As I posted on the Peer to Peer forums: I am wondering if someone would like to take a hack at this theme mod? Basically, I would like to be able to display the sidebar in mobile view, on a drawer similar to the drawer shown when clicking on the menu button. The menu button is on the top right corner and the menu slides out of the right side of the screen. I would like a sidebar button on the top left corner and have the sidebar slide out of the left side of the screen. Any takers?

So, I've been doing tons of searching and I have yet to encounter a decent solution for this. I have Wordpress for the front, IPB for the back and would like an arcade. Maybe I'm blind, or not typing in the right stuff into search, but is there an arcade for IPB? I've tried one for WP and it was, well, not that good.

Hey, In our game, we have a forum icon that all in-game users can tap it and jump into the forum site directly. But these in-game users are visiting the forum as guests. So I am wondering if it is possible to make these in-game users automatically registered as forum members, and they don't need to sign in anymore. I want to make all my in-game users to be the forum members this way. Any suggestions?

I've only seen one IPS Forum do this. And the forum was running IPS 3.4, it's a massive illegal warez forum. The site basically has a shoutbox, that uses web sockets. This means that all the messages gets sent, and recieved instantly. It's pretty awesome. How did they do it? - They grab the user session to start web socket connection (to grab shouts) - They also grab user session to send messages. They basically made an API, on IPS that would tell what userid etc and what information that user has. So when someone sends a message, it connects to that API. Is it actually real time? Faced with this problem on its forum. Unscrupulous users who have an aversion to each other looking for old messages and lower reputation. It turned in the reputations of war. Changing the amount of reputation in the day does not solve the problem. So the idea. Is it possible to write a hook that is a limited time to change the reputation? For example the user has written a message or topic. Time changes reputation suppose put in 2 days. Those. 2 days on this message or topic will be already impossible to put up or down a reputation. Seeking programmer for export/import of Facebook Group posts exported into the forum as threads. Import IPB posts back into a Facebook group as a bot or whatever. I'd like to control % chance for an ad to show. Right now we only have: random, most recent, least impressions. E.g. I have an ad that I only want to show about 10% of the time, and right now I want 90% to be Adsense. In the future, I might have another ad I want to show 10% of the time, etc. Happily pay for this!
