I'm trying to set up a sales department, and it seems like departments can only include member from the admin group, and our sales guy is not. Cant you just pick people you want to include in a department as you like?

Hi. I installed Memer Map and I have a problem. After pressing "Add location" errors appear in ACP. Where can I give Api key? It is written to go to the settings but in the applications there is no Meber Map to enter the settings. Do you have any advice on this or a similar application? Thank you.

We are facing a problem with images attached by some users. They are linking to an image / directory which is password protected. I would like to display the joined date under each post inside the user information box (postContainer). To do so I already modified the code of it: <li class='ipsType_light'> joined: {datetime="$member->joined"} </li> For some reasons this is just returning: joined: January 1, 1970 For each user, the timestamps inside the database are fine, it seems like somehow they are only interpreted wrong? Any idea what goes wrong here?

I'm trying to make my newly translated language as a default on my forum. Problem is that it's always complaining about unsupported locale at the server. I have no idea what & where to set. I'm running the test forum on my Windows 10 machine with US english default locale, running under Apache with PHP 7.2.1 etc. What is the proper locale code for Slovak? sk_SK, sk-SK and others which work elsewhere simply doesn't in IPB 4.2.7. Even when setting en_US in the default English I get the same error. Why I can't see the Set language as default option in my newly translated language? Hi, I was wondering. Is there a way to possibly filter PM to to different user groups. For example. My site we may get YouTube celebrities, so in this case they go in a special group called Verified, which is a verified group of people who are famous and to reduce server overload I disabled PMs for this group so they don't get hassled by fans. Now my question is, I want my verified group to be able to choose who they can contact including other verified members, but as far as regualar members starting conversations with them it would be impossible. Sort of like Twitter where you can't direct message a celebrity, but those celebrities can talk …

Newbie question here... I just recently installed the new Gallery app and I think it will work great as a replacement for an old Photopost external application (no longer in business). I have thousands of photos to eventually upload but will get to that over time. When I was setting up the Gallery, however, I inadvertently deleted the "Member Albums" category and now I find that was a big mistake. I would like to recreate that category but don't know which specific permissions it should have. If I can't recreate "Member Albums" perhaps the easiest thing to do would be to start over and do a new fresh install of the Gallery. I only have a few categories and …

I already have ip suite for mt website, but I am creating a new website and am considering IP suite for that too. So, I have an ip demo board to see if it will meet what I'm wanting for this new site. The problem I have found is that when creating an article, there is no option for a "teaser" paragraph/text? Is this still an option in IPB 4.x? I haven't used the article feature in my other site since upgrading from 3.x to 4.x so havent noticed if there is an option there for articles. Is it missing because it's just the invision demo board? Any help greatly appreciated!
