Josiah Wallingford
AdminCP is not letting me select on of the caching methods as outline here. I see the option but cannot click the button for Memcached: What am I missing?
Fawk
Is memcached configured on your server?
Josiah Wallingford
Yes, I verified with my host that it is installed and configured. It is possible it is not configured correctly. Any idea where I would find out exactly how it is supposed to be configured?

When I had this issue the last time it was because memcache extension was not enabled for the php version that I'm using. You will want to check phpinfo and see if memcache is available. In your web management system you should be able to see a list of PHP extensions.
Optic14
Hi @Josiah Wallingford sounds like you have installed just the memcached server. Make sure your host has also installed the PHP/PECL extension for memcached:https://pecl.php.net/package/memcached
bfarber
Indeed, if the PHP extension is not installed, the option is disabled on the configuration screen.
