Just something that would be such a nice feature -- the ability to restrict individual clubs to certain user groups, rather than only being able to restrict all clubs by user group. We have multiple Moderator/Admin groups, and it would be very nice to have the ability to restrict certain clubs from certain groups.

if in the activity stream someone has impeded video (video) it would be great if it could auto play (muted) as that may invoke interaction to go to this post.

After a long hiatus from using the Downloads app, we are delving back into it, this time using the web API to deliver content to our desktop application with one click. One thing that jumps out at me is the fact that there is no way to set a category as a "container". We don't want our top-most categories to contain any files directly. All files are stored in a sub-category one level down. Currently this looks awkward because if the user clicks on the top-level category it just says "No files in this category yet.". Recurring events should be enhanced to be edited/saved with different dates for each year. This will allow us to just change the dates of some events for any year without having to create them from scratch laboriously which can also save a history of recurring events for each year with different dates for past/future reference. If I'm not mistaken, it overwrites the date of a recurring event when we modify its date for any year. For instance, if I create a list of events for the entire year in 2024, I should be able to edit some of their dates in 2025 while keeping the dates of 2024 events intact. I read somewhere the ability to mark a topic reply as the answer is going away in IPB version 5. Is this true? This would be a big problem for us, as we currently use a Q&A forum for our bug tracking system. I filter by unsolved topics to find what I am supposed to be working on, and mark my own replies as the solution when a bug is fixed.

Can we please have more details on how content will be changed (rebuilt) with the v5 upgrade? We already know that spoilers will be updated (and rebuilt?) from divs to details+summary, which is good. However, the main concern is inline styles, especially those involving text and/or background color. Throughout the lifetime of v4, forums have accumulated many messages that were copied and pasted into the editor, with colors not being removed. Consequently, many messages in v4 contain inline styles that are not visible to users now but will become apparent when we finally get dark mode. The following option is configurable under Profile Settings, and users can override if they like, but it appears to apply to all content types across the IPS Suite, which is not ideal. It makes sense to have users default to "Take me to the latest comment" for Forums, but I cannot set it like this right now because I have a 'News' Pages database and having this option set will also apply there, which is annoying to users who wish to read news articles (their priority is loading the page from the start, not reading the comments). So it would make sense for me to be able to set "Latest Comment" for Forum content links, and "Beginning" for Pages DB content.

We are using the Invision web API as a license management system for our desktop software. The user logs into their account, gets an authentication token, and then uses that token to check if their software license is active. This allows them to run the software and receive updates through our system. We have been using this for over a year and it has worked extremely well, and has increased our revenue by 43%, since we do not have to rely on external sales portals. Currently I can use Saved Actions in Clubs forums, but from Saved Actions configuration it miss the clubs support when I choose the Move action. From clubs forums, when the topic is marked with a Save Action, I want to move that topic into another clubs forum.

Hi, Kudos to IPB Team 🧡 For Custom Page databases superb features with that kind of flexibility sky's the limit. With Pages we could easily ditch WordPress need for custom Pages and articles. The only feature is missing is able to select multiple categories for same record or article. Wordpress provide that support for that out of box like follows: Sometime same piece of information falls under many different categories rather than just once. so it would be really great if team could also add support for this feature for custom page records. Hello, 🙂 Suggestion : remove the "and 6 more" in the menus and show all items in the menu instead, or allow to choose. Hiding the menu items (and thus the content) with a "And 6 more" is making things complicated for the user and is not attractive. Keeping things simple for the user is important. Thank you. 🙂

As noted here, there's a problem for those of us who have more than one account here. (In my case, it's because I have to use different payment cards depending on the site; nothing nefarious!) When logging out of one account (at both the client and community installations) and then trying to log into another, we meet this screen: Clicking on Sign in with Email automatically logs the user back in to the last-used account; there isn't a field anywhere to type in the desired email address. We have an option not to index a page: If you place a database on such page, it will be still added to the sitemap. At the same time all the records in the database have the meta tag “noindex”. Google will mark the pages as excluded: Desired behavior: do not add a database on the page that should not be indexed to the sitemap.php

Hardcoded widgets are painful to move to desired positions. Please make them movable, just like other widgets. For example, the statistics in the topic (which eats a whole column in the topic view by default).

Twitter is now using the x.com domain which means tweets are no longer embedding properly. Wouldn't call it a bug, more a case of Elon Musk being a tool. Still needs looking at though. Ignore that. They are working. Just loaded verrrrrry slowly. Apologies for wasting your time reading this.
