Hello Dear IPS. For exemple; I'm now in ACP but why i must enter my e mail and password for acces to CLIENT AREA? I have entered ACP avec my nick and password, why ask e-mail and password for CLIENT AREA? I'm not on https://www.invisionpower.com/customer/ , i'm on my acp, i write my nick and password before acces to ACP and for CLIENT AREA i enter always e mail and password. I think, we don't need enter e-mail and password when we are in the ACP for acces to CLIENT AREA. This will be better...

Is there any way to allow guests to vote? If there isn't, I think IPB's missing a very important feature. I understand why some people don't want guest voting switched on, but can you at least add the option to the Admin CP, so that the owner of the board can decide for themself?

On some Support Desks I have used when you hit go to GMail it asks you to login with SSL then it goes into a Non-SSL Mode. A feature I would like to have is when you hit the Login Button to login into the Forum the Forum will go to https while you login then once a successful login is made it goes back to http A Same Idea I would like to be applied to the Admin CP. I think this kind of feature should be added to IPB. I know people would have to buy an SSL Certificate but it would be a optional feature but a very helpful one :)

Just wondering why we don't have a forum for the download manager and its not officially released? I personally am very happy with the product and think its great, and works fine. Are there going to be any new features coming out with it or is it staying the same for a while. The only problem I have with it is how did you guys come up with the price of $50.00 USD? Personally I was never going to buy it because for $50.00 I could spend my money of something else that I would use more ie: a PC game... but besides that I think it would be great at $35.00 USD or $40.00 USD. Now that I bought it does not make much of a difference, but how did you guys get $50.00 USD? I can't…

A few members of my community have started using animated GIFs converted from AVI videos and hosted on remote websites as their avatars - these files can range upto 6MB in size, and are obviously a problem for people trying to access my forums on slower connections - principally dial-up of course. As a solution to this problem, I was thinking it would be a good idea if each member effectively had two avatars - a standard avatar with the current restrictions such as max. 50KB filesize, uploaded dimensions etc. Then they could have a 'super avatar' such as these animated GIFs, which are only displayed if a particular member selects in their control panel that they have a …

Hello, I've just bought IP.Board license fropm your official distributor in Russia. The license is registered for the http://sharpei-online.com (that is not active web site yet, but will be soon). Unfortunately the Russian distributor doesn't sale IB.Blog and IB.Gallery licenses (but they offer to buy them for me for extra money 90 USD for IP Gallery and 75 USD for IP Blog. I'm not sure I want to pay extra to somebody else, so I need to purchase these products from you. But I don't understand how to do that because I cannot register as your client for purchasing. I did sent e-mail to sales@invisionpower.com 2 days ago but still have nothing back. :unsure:

Hi, I have a free copy off invison power board v1.3, this is very old and does not come close to what the newest version have. So ive been thinking about regestering my forum in order to get updates etc. But i was just wondering if, when i purchase the subscription, invision will upgrade my forum with the included price of rgistration or will i have to pay extra for them to upgarde it for me? There should be a feature that allows you to lock all threads before or after the specified date or time period. Ex: I want all threads that are 3 months old to be locked. I put in the date and it locks all threads 3 months old.

There have been countless amounts of times when I've been in the process of typing up a really long post, and my attention has to be diverted to something else that sometimes causes me to leave the workstation. I'd like to see the ability to save a post (or topic) as a draft that no one else can see, and you can access from your User CP. Also, Topic and Post invisibility need a small upgrade. Since you're using invisibility instead of the old Mod Queue in the Mod CP, how about adding some new "After Posting..." options for Moderators? Maybe "Make this Topic Invisible" or even "Make this Post Invisible" for edits or if you want to hide for some reason. Just a couple of…

Suggestion for future upgrade of IPB. A number of members on my board have asked for the option to set their font/color/size preferences on posts and have them come up as default each time they post. I too would find it much more convenient rather than having to change them for each post. Thanks for considering this when you start planning for future enhancements. Milt

I'd really like it there were a way to export old threads to static html pages. The same functionality used to export PMs would do it. Just extend it. Search would be a problem, but I would probobly try Xapian + Omega. or let google handle it.

On the side panel where the emoticons are, when you click next or previous, you loose focus from the textarea. In Rich Text Editor anyway. Even though it's the smallest thing ever, I think you should keep focus even when you click that link!

The 1st suggestion is to force members who want to vote , to post a message before or after votting....
