Ability to set image upload size
by Guest Genestoy- 1 reply
- 1.2k views
It would be nice to be able to set the "Max single upload size" for posting an image. IPS forums have the size set at 246.73k yet the default for 2.2 is 2mb? If there is no way in the ACP to do this maybe somebody can tell me where I can change it in the coding and that it will actually work? >_< Thanks

CSS Changes vs HTML Changes
by Guest Luke- 1 reply
- 2.1k views
In the CSS changes red is add and green is remove, yet in the html template changes green is add and red is remove. The key is accurate (reversed) though. To avoid confusion I would recommend making green add and red remove on both. All you need to do, or should only need to do, is change a class name :)

Just for those wondering (or whose advanced CSS differences tool times out still), I ran the tool and there are no changes to the advanced CSS at all since RC2.

Is an upgrade from 2.1.5 possible direct to 2.0, or do I need to upgrade to 1.6 and 1.7 before ?

Anyone noticed this CSS editor error in IPB2.2?
by Guest tomrice32- 2 replies
- 1.1k views
Has anyone noticed this possible bug? For me...when editing CSS or board headers, if ../folder/somefile.jpg is used to display images or include files from another directory, upon saving changes the editor changes the ../ to its HTML equivelant & # 46;& # 46;/ and obviously it fails to work. Had to split up & # 46 ; otherwise this editor converts it back lol.

Will update to 2.2.0, but in what order?
by Guest arcticblue- 6 replies
- 1.7k views
When 2.2.0 is now out, I will upgrade my current set; * Apache2.2.3 * MySQL 4.1.21 * PHP 5.2.0 * IPB 2.1.7 (along with IPB/IDM/IPG) Current PHP and Apache are already at their latest, thus no upgrade needed. That leaves IPB and MySQL... Which way is the best? First MySQL 4.1.21 -> MySQL 5.0.27 and then IPB 2.17 -> IPB 2.2.0, or vice verse?

'Upgrade available' notice stays.
by Guest theclub- 7 replies
- 2.2k views
Even though I upgraded my skins forum to 2.2 final the 'Upgrade available' notice is still there. It still says "WHEN YOU'VE APPLIED THE PATCH, CLICK HERE TO RESET THIS WARNING. PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE UPDATE NOW!" There is no update, and clicking 'reset' logs you out of Admin CP, when you get back the notice is still there. :o

In the renewed main website (very nice btw :) ) I can find ip.board, ip.gallery & ip.blog, but no ip.downloads. Does that mean it still not an official product of the ips branche?

Upgrade or Reinstall?
by Guest Cheesehead Dave- 11 replies
- 6.3k views
My board has only been up since February, so I started out with 2.1.something. Would there be any benefit to starting with a fresh copy of the board software when 2.2 is released, or should I just directly upgrade the existing board? If I went with the fresh copy, what would the procedure be? Back up the database, install a fresh copy of 2.1.7, then upgrade that to 2.2, or can I use the backed-up database from 2.1.7 and restore it to a fresh 2.2 installation?

Couple Curious Questions
by Guest TestingSomething- 0 replies
1. Why was a _ added before one of the birthday variables and also interests? Just curious because the other parts of birthday werent like that and still aren't. 2. This is more a note to people than a question: for people who did not notice, they commented out the IE png image fix in global_board_footer.

I have seen it on a few forums and now live on this one. :) I am going to go check the client center right now to see if there's anything in there for RC4 right now so I can start reporting bugs. If not, I'll wait until tomorrow. Note: At the time of this post, when I say "released," I mean it is live on this forum.

After upgrading
by Guest .KX- 5 replies

After upgrading there are a load of settings and stuff left over from old mods, when I try and delete them I get something like:- Also I have database tables which aren't in use from old mods. Can someone give me a list of all the default tables in a 2.2 RC3 database, plus a way to get rid of the settings. Also I want to know if these are default settings:
