gforum
Is there any way to allow guests to vote? If there isn't, I think IPB's missing a very important feature. I understand why some people don't want guest voting switched on, but can you at least add the option to the Admin CP, so that the owner of the board can decide for themself? maddogsplace
It would be easy enough to allow guests to vote. Just a bit of editing is needed! :D
Arts&Faith
How to keep them from voting multiple times? Or from having users log-out to vote as guests?
Antony
Not Possible CUrrently. I Also dont see a need to let Guests Vote in Polls.
Why Two Kay
It would be difficult to implement, without people being able to vote multiple times. IPs change, cookies can be deleted. Also, somebody could vote as registered, then log out and vote again.
eyedam
This feature seems quite useless to me, but, as gforum says, it should be for the board's admin to decide. In addition, an IP check for voting would do good in both
Exzachly
I'm making some shirts and wanted to make a poll asking what sizes everyone wears, then link to the forum topic. My forum is pretty dead but it would have been really useful to find out my fans sizes this way. I doesnt matter if theres no security if theres really no reason for people to want to cheat it, definately should be up to admin... or maybe the person who posts the poll.
