Sinistra Sensei Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 OK when you go to alter the RTE for the forum view it messes up the admin CP RTE is there a way the admin CP could have its own CSS for the RTE?
Keith J. Kacin Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 The ACP RTE uses the CSS from whatever the default skin is on your board.
Sinistra Sensei Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 and thats why I am asking for a way for the admin CP to have its on RTE CSS. I mean unless your going to mod your entire admin CP to mach your skin as well I don't see a point in using the same CSS as your Default skin..My forum RTE: as you can see its a dark skin. this is my default skin for my board. The admin RTE. As you can see the font is hard to read in this RTE because its using my board Default skin. Now for those that don't want to use the same CSS style for their forum for the RTE in their admin cp it should have its own CSS instead of cutting corners. I mean Im not saying its a bad thing but it would be nice to read what I put in the RTE in the admin CP
stobbo Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 +1This defintely would be good, personally this isn't a issue on my board but I see how it could be.
Keith J. Kacin Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 Instead of using two copies of the same files to use the RTE in the ACP, we just use the board files. And we use the default skin because we know that skin will always have the files. What if you delete the default IPB skin, then you are left without an RTE.
