I'm pretty sure that when viewing new content prior to v3.0 of IPB, if I clicked the icon it would take me to the last UNREAD post, but if I clicked on the last post in the TOPIC. but now both clicks take me to the last post. Why is this? And wouldn't it just be a skin change to change it back?

Hello, i have postet it as a bug a few days before (here) and now suggest it here: Please make the birthday time format (profile) editable (with the time settings in the ACP). Same for (all) other not editable time formats on the board (dont found other yet). :thumbsup:

I'd like to say a couple of things. I actually tried CleanCut today and I really like it.. Nice pick guys. However, I don't really like the mini-profile on topic view. It has a 1px horizontal gray line after every line such as Group, Posts, etc.. I really dislike that. Also, for Facebook Connect, I would like to suggest the following. Once you sign up with Facebook connect, ask you for a different display name. I know personally I don't want to have my full name displayed and I know many of my members don't either. Finally, any chance that the switch between RTE and the oldschool editor be implemented in 3.0.2? Thanks

Hi, we want to disable the possibility setting the timezone and daylightsaving time in mysettings for all users (e.g. guest, members) . only the admin should have the right for setting the correct time. we want to set it global for all. see also http://forums.invisi...s-and-the-time/

Admin set member titles in vbulletin were not migrated to the IPB board. I am willing to update these manually but I think this is something you will want to fix. *****Found another thing - all of my old PM messages were marked as new in IPB. Many of the PM messages were associated with "deleted member" when the member that sent them was imported into IPB fine.

I have configured "Valid postable image extensions" only for jpg and jpeg. but all members continue to use png and gif images in bbcode tag img for posts and signatures. what the problem with my board ? my board is ipb 3.0.1 without modifications

After using IPB for awhile, I've imported many email spam XMLs packs, and common IPs of spammers. Now I have soo many that when I open the page in the ACP it crashes in Firefox or lags terribly until it can load them. (Be kind, only 2gb of ram on a Pentium 4) How much work would it be to separate them like "IP Ban Filter", "Username Ban Filter" and "Email Ban Filter" to save load times?

I currently have IPB 2.3 forum on a live site, and I was wondering if it would be possible to have another forum (version 3.0.1) use the database from the IPB 2.3 forum. Essentially so I have a mirror of my live forum running on a 3.0.1 forum which I can use for testing things.

I'm using the subscription system kind of like a shop. Unlimited PM's, more reputation, and such. I would really appreciate it if there was an option to allow multiple subscriptions at once. This would be useful in many ways, and would allow me to continue to offer multiple things at low prices rather than in big packages.

While you can close/collapse the entire sidebar, it would be really neat to be able to collapse select items like how you can collapse the forums. Say you didn't want to see Recent Blog Entries but wanted to see Recently Added Topics. Just click the little minus by Recent Blog Entries and collapse it, while still being able to see the rest of the sidebar items.

My hosting company limits my SQL database to 100mb each and I'm sure some other hosting companies do the same thing. So the idea I had is to allow the admin to make use of multiple databases. The idea would be to branch off large database hogs into another database such as the skins. Currently I can only imagine having a main database and then an alternate for the skins, but I imagine that it could be done for other things as well.

I've been around here for a very long time. I've been watching IPS evolve as a company for even longer. I have to say I am very impressed with the way things have turned out over the years. You guys make occasional mistakes, but they are honest mistakes and you resolve them quickly. You don't take shortcuts and you have the good practice to be fair and polite to your customers no matter what. You have shown yourselves to be the kind of company I will stand behind. Matt & Charles (and the rest of the contributing staff) you guys have made something really great here. I know sometimes managing a business can be demanding and stressful.
