My friend is owner of a license, and we work together on that board. I am a developer and skinner, and I did learn how to create IPB skins. I made a few and want to sell them, why I can't do that on this board? The other account with the license I can't use (because he don't want let me in because he don't trust me xD haha no he only don't want that I will get all his acces to the client section etc.) So why I can't sell skins on this board with a normal account? I think it would be very nice when other people can sell skins to ;) Greetz, Joran

Is it possible for one user to edit another user's event? I found that this question was asked previously, but that's about it. Being able to register for an event along with a note (like, "will be 10 minutes late") would be ideal.

When you get a notification about for instance a quoted post you click 'quoted' and it brings you to the post, but when you return to the index the notification is still 'new', even though you've already read the post. Now I can understand why you'd not want to mark a notification as read after you press any link in it (for instance when you click '<user>' and go to the profile, you might want to check out your quoted post or the user's post later), but it would be nice if you could mark them as read from the index (using AJAX would be nice, I think, not having to reload the page afterwards :)) because currently you have to go to the 'Notifications area' and 'read' …

When deleting a member there should be each type of their content listed with checkboxes by them. Posts, topics, gallery images, etc... and you check the box by each type of content you want deleted from that member. Then for each app have a file which adds to an array where maybe the key is the table name and the value is the name of the field which holds their member_id or something? Was just trying to think of some ideas on how to have a setup which allows an admin to get rid of someone's content and not have stuff left over in the various apps.

I would like to suggest the ability for ADMINs to RESET every member's reputation points across the board. Right now, there is only a way to reset reputation points one member at a time. I would like to have the flexibility to RESET every member's reputation points at one time whenever the admin feels a need to. Please advise.

If there were a way to mark a ticket as low priority I would use it. Some tickets are not as important as others, and I'd hate to think my ticket kept someone from getting help when they needed it more. I would be great if the Live Support Chat icon still existed in the client area even when technicians were not online. I thought my account settings changed because for a while during regular business hours last week there was no icon at all. I completely understand if they are busy and not available. It would also be good if a customer could ask the question even when technicians are offline, so people could ask questions then the tech could answer them when they had tim…

I post now here a new topic, because [url=" no IPS staff answer for month. When import a application it overwrite still all languagepacks. Solution for this big problem: Give us a dropdown when importing a languagepack (application). So we can select the language pack in which we would import the application (or if no one selected create a new languagepack / install the application to all languagepacks).

Hi, I've recently experimented with persistent connections on my main site (not ipb, all custom code) and it really delivered noticeable improvements. This feature was (re)introduced in PHP 5.3, perhaps we can have an option in IPB to use it on systems that are capable of doing so. Could someone please pick up my ticket as a matter of priority please, I know I am not entitled to preferential treatment nor do I expect it, however my board is down, and I can do nothing more. I cant use the skin generator. I get: The Skin Generator is only available to customers with an active support license I paid for hosted servies since the 17th of this month and still can't post in the forums. How do I get support? Where do I edit/add my license? I've already paid and have login and password to the client pages.

Last night it said the license server was down. Tonight it says "[#CJOIN-0] There was an error connecting with the chat room. Please notify an administrator." I checked the chat room here on IP, same. So why does it keep going down? Thanks

If you get a new version of your language pack, its very complicated to import it, preserving the language selection of the members. In IPB 2.x you could assign all members using "language a" to the new "language b". This feature was dropped with IPB 3.x. So if i have a new version of the eg german language package, i have to to the following: That really sucks.

Requested IP.Content install on hosted IPB since Thursday... How long does it usually take for IP to respond to client tickets and to install an already paid for IP.Content to our existing IP.Board? Will installing IP.Content affect any of the current IP.Board data/changes I've made? I asked this also in a second ticket today but stll waiting for response after 4 hours. The software is awesome, but with these type response times is it better to host on my own? Also, can I install on my own since I have FTP access? Thanks

Hello, As an international user i want to suggest a new feature to the language section.. every time that there is an update that including new language values its kind it drama. because the values has no order.. and i gotta spy/research after the changes in hard ways.. I am suggesting to add the number of the version which the value added/changed which will be make it much easier! Come on people vote on the poll.. :rolleyes:

While it's quite a substantial development and might take some time to release, I feel it's important. It's featured in vBulletin, one of (if not) the largest competitors to IP.Board and it would be extremely useful for me to be able to specify forums and permissions for users in certain social groups. Currently I'm doing this manually via secondary usergroups and admin manual editing, but it's a pain in the butt and I have about 20 secondary user groups. There was a modification for IPB 2.3 called Member Teams that accomplished this quite well, and there's SUPPOSED to be an app coming out for IPB3, but I haven't heard proof of development from either of those in ages. …

Something I noticed about the app is that it currently doesn't support landscape view. I think it'd work a lot better if it did. :) I use landscape a lot and it'd be easier to type in it too. Also give it iPad support, that would be fantastic as well! :D

Hi! Before IPB 3 it was possible to find deleted posts belonging to a certain member by viewing their user profile and reading their earlier posted posts from the profile. For some reasons I dont know you removed this possibillity in IPB 3. Atleast on large boards this is one of the things in IPB that makes it very frustrating and time consuming to be a moderator. It makes it a lot harder to view all deleted posts from a certain member and it makes it time consuming to find the posts you just deleted so you can link to them in the warn log. Here is two suggestions: 1. Turn it back into how it was or make it an option. 2. Make a new feature; "View 'deleted' posts …

Here are the biggest issues for me: 1/ The ad integrated after the first post overwrites the existing second posts on existing threads. Would like to see this inserted between the existing posts, or have this integration only begin on new threads, leaving the old/existing alone. 2/ Footer ads are interfering with blog entries 3/ Sidebar ads aren't formatting correctly Is there any headway on these? It is costly to be waiting on the sidelines (even if for google adsense alone), or were these corrected in 3.1.1?
