I'd like to see the current call backtrace shown in the new SQL error log to increase the chance of identifying exactly what the cause of the problem is. Also, would be nice to include a simple bash or php script that monitors the various error log files for a change and sends an alert email to an address (presumably to the admin). Such a script could be run as a cron job and coded to send out notification emails only every X hours for new changes. Hi, Could I ask for an option in the ACP to enable / disable the AJAX hover icons that show up in the forum topic list display. They cause a delay when scrolling up/down the topic list and 'tug' at the mouse - something I'd like to have the option of disabling so it speeds up topic navigation. Invision Peeps, I posted a topic earlier regarding the modifying of invision using the hook system and one of the questions it occured to me I should be stating in here. I think it would serve a massive purpose to invision to have a very very basic modification that doesnt really do much but goes through all the basics of putting together a new hook step by step within the resources area. I got a package renewal invoice on Thursday while I was out of town. I promptly paid it this morning. A bit later I got the following email: I submit the ticket and billing got back to me with the following: Not only is a 5 day billing cycle before being "cancelled" ridiculous, but its not even 5 business days. It's just 5 calendar days. Further, what does it mean to be "cancelled"? I can't say I'm too impressed with the billing department at this point.

Based on email settings, where is my email address added as main email address for board, only me get notifications about new registrations and cases when someone is marked as spammer. But would be usefull if all my admins get the same notifications. I want that all my admins get notifications when new member was registered and someone was marked as spammer. Thanks in advance.

Hi There We've just installed IPChat onto 3.1.1 board, however all settings are correct, we get the above error. Checked in Client Area, and can't find any IPChat package - this was installed via Admincp. Refreshed Licence key in admincp, but still nothing - licence keys match in Client area and also admincp.. As mentioned elsewhere it is very good, however having used it this morning it appears to be lacking three items IMHO At the foot of posts it could do with a 'next' and 'previous' topic, which would save going back to the top and having to navigate up and then back down A home link, to go back to the forum home from anywhere A back to forum listing in the footer - this again would save having to scroll back up and clicking the forum link having just read a topic.

A log analyzer that would build up statistics from the log would totally rock. Show number of people in the chat at a given time, graphs of chat (public chat and private chat) and by user group (if possible). How long someone stayed in the chat as well. Just basically lots of useless stats to accompany the useful stats. I'm mainly interested in seeing how many people were in the chat throughout the day (bar graph style) as well as a line graph of actual activity (talking). Something to overlay the two would be nice as well, being able to compare activity with the number of people in the chat.

ACP, IP.Chat. Manage IP.Chat Chat Logs - Public - Private - Both - Date [ # ] For the date, have a calendar pop up that lets you pick a day and then it will show all conversations (public and/or private based on current view) for that day. I know there are options at the bottom, but when going to the logs, being able to click on the left would be very nice. Continuing to use the bottom to search for words, phrases, specific dates would make sense. In the ACP, I would like to see a way for seeing the members reputation by groups... What I mean is, if I want to see members with a reputation of -3 to -15 or members with a reputation from +5 to +25... Or members who have received more than 5 negative or positive reputation in the last 30 days or 60 or 90 or 120 days... It would be wonderful and would be very useful for choosing new moderators and tasks like these... Thansk in Advance :thumbsup: :rolleyes:

I know it may not sound like much, but to have a count of how many people are in the chat added to the enter/exit messages would be useful. So when looking through the logs, it's easier to know how many people were in at the time without having to try to keep count. Especially useful if someone is saying they couldn't get into the chat at a certain time because of it being full, it'd be easy to look and see if it really was full or if there was some other issue going on. Not only that, but an admin would be able to keep tabs on how busy their chat gets. If they have a 20 license and keep hitting the 20, then they might decide to upgrade it to a 50, particularly if it'…

I believe the title explains everything. It would be an easy step forward to allow developers to create hooks, which would hide the normal content from <if>/<foreach> and add their own HTML. To allow multiple hooks to replace the same statement, IP.Board should simply discard the old content and add contents from hooks in it's place. So if there was: <div class='profilePic'><if test="showProfilePicture:|:$showProfilePicture"><img class='pic' /></if></div> A developer could achieve replacing the profile picture with an avatar: <div class='profilePic'><img class='avatar' /></div> Regards.

probably this has already been requested, but, here it goes, one more time... :) We have 'Topic Title', 'Topic Description'... i think it's time to do a 'Topic prefix' I'm preparing to switch from VB to IPB and this is one of those feature that i'm really going to miss... so much that i'm still a little bit hesitant to switch. My customers use it A LOT and they probably will hate it that it's not there anymore.... if there's a mod, that would be great!

Hi. Im started to get annoyed with the BB Code for code and stuff. Whenever I paste code into it, then I go and make the code look right (remove underlines, change font, etc.) I can't put it into the Is there a way we can fix this so it parses the BB code or something? or just removes all formatting (except linebreaks)? tags because the code tag shows all the BB Code in raw format.

I'm sure with many sites (such as ours) the individual who owns the site and makes the purchases is different from the individual who does the day to day maintenance, administration and installation of the forum software. This makes it somewhat difficult and awkward when attempting to maintain the site, and the Admin is unable to access the specialized areas to download software or post issues. Would it be possible for those that are designated as alternate contacts in the account settings to be given the same permissions that Active Customers are provided? I've just discovered in my test convered IPB3.1.1 site that everyone's "Edit reason" for their edited posts is now on public display!! Is this a setting I'm missing, i.e. can they be made private again (only the owner can see them) ? If not, would it be a good idea to make the import of this data optional? (on the basis that things written in private might have a negative impact if made public!!) Cheers, Shaun :D
