Currently, we have to edit the OP to change the title and tag(s) of the new thread when we merge two. It would be nice if we could select which topic title and tags to use when merging threads.

Whenever i see a forum where you can see an image thumbnail preview of the first post attachment, I notice that I keep on browsing the topics overview page a lot more. It is really convenient seeing that preview topic thumbnail. Would you like a feature like that? example one more example

Hello - With the upgrade to 3.2.3, if you're hosted with IPB, you can no longer edit how many characters are truncated (the default is 1000 characters). You used to be able to edit this by making edits to the skin. If you're hosted with IPB,the file is encoded and cannot be edited. Is there anyway this functionality can be returned for those hosted with IPB? Thank you.

I absolutely love the idea behind the "My Media" button when posting, but I've one major point of frustration with it... If your (image file, event, etc) titles are longer than 13 characters, it gets truncated, which really sucks if you have multiple versions of the same thing (like have HD and iPod versions of a video in downloads), examples below. We use a lot of naming conventions too, like if we add 100 images from a particular event, the file names might look like: lincolncity2011-008.jpg With the current arrangement, I can't see the "008" part and have to try to find the right photo out of dozens using a little thumbnail, useless again if you have diffe…

Whenever someone disconnects from the chatroom, or there is a chat server reset it says "You Have Been Kicked From This Chatroom." Obviously that is not correct, so can this be changed in a future version? Some may even consider this a bug.

1) Why are reviews moderated? 2) Why is a user not allowed to update their rating for a product? Surely it's recognized that someone's experience with a product can change over time and over different versions, as in the case of a paid product that initially seemed to work fine but then later caused major issues that required manual database intervention and/or manual editing of encoded files to resolve, even when the product was used as intended?

Some of my members are complaining about it. While you're in some topic there is no "Start new topic" button. In order to start new topic the user has to go to forum view page. What was the reasoning behind removing that button?

Over 3 weeks ago, on 23 September, I reported a critical cross-site scripting bug involving the tag that allowed any user to inject arbitrary Javascript into a post that would be executed when the page was viewed. A fix was created for this shortly afterwards and incorporated into the upcoming 3.2.3 release. At the time I asked for details of the fix to be posted so that I could manually patch my board. I never got a response. I asked Matt directly on Twitter too, and was told the fix was included in the latest pre-release build (which is of no use of course, as I'm not about to install pre-release software on my live site). When you click at the top via the messenger icon, you should be able to click on the avatar image and/or name to go to their profile.
