Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted October 26, 201113 yr Do we really need the last post information beneath the title and to the far right? I mean, I know it's a search thing, and all... Just doesn't seem very streamlined, which is the style IPS has been going with for IP.Board.
October 26, 201113 yr I never noticed that til now and I have to agree with Jay. It's not a distraction or anything, but it makes somewhat more sense to have it only on the far right IMO.
October 27, 201113 yr Community Expert Management Jay, look again at your second screenshot. The dates dont match. The info to the far right is the date of the post search matched.
October 27, 201113 yr Author Jay, look again at your second screenshot. The dates dont match. The info to the far right is the date of the post search matched. Ok, spotted finally... Just seems a bit confusing to have last post info on the far right for other parts of the board, but under the title for this, and no explanation for it on the screen. It can come across as wonky behavior to people that don't hang out here and keep up on these things. It'd be nice if "matches your search" were linked to the post.
October 27, 201113 yr Community Expert Management If the last post information was in the right hand column then the dates would appear to not match the sort ordering which was more confusing and generated bug reports :)
