I've ran the upgrade on my live site however running into this error when opening a forum, I can view the rest of the forum fine, open the latest posts just not forums. Searched this error code but come across nobody seeing it? I have a backup so can restore everything to 3.4.7 if needed

Hi, Just installed this and have a few questions... 1: I cant see who is online as you can in 3.4.7 at the bottom left. How do i enable this in 4.0? 2: Sidebars, how do i have this setup so i can put sidebar ads? It was built into 3.4.7 but cant find it anywhere in 4.0? Matt

Hey, I'm in the process of doing a test install for a client's site (upgrading them from 3.4.7 to 4.0 RC1) and when trying to enter any key into the upgrader I get There was an error communicating with the IPS License Server: name lookup timed out. Please try again later or contact IPS technical support for assistance. Has anyone seen this before? I understand this may just be our firewall being well.. stupid, so if it Is I'd need to add the IPS license server to our safelist for the time being.

My test site has relatively few content items. There are 15 posts (most of which are a few words), a couple of test Calendar events, and that's about it. The only thing of any actual depth is a single 7,000-word article in a Pages record, which is the text version of a journal from 1905. What about adding a Showcase forum section to the site? @Lindy I am aware we have something like this with a thread in Client Lounge, but one of the few things I liked while using another forum platform was a dedicated section to showcase forums using that product. It also gave you the ability to politely critique and offer suggestion to one another as well. I know I have so much I could learn and it'd be great to see other IPS forums and not be stuck in a thread necessarily Especially with IPS4 coming up, I am even curious to see what everyone has in store for their respective sites as well as showcase the power and look of IPB 4 Micah

I'm creating a code hook that extends the \IPS\nexus\Invoice class and save() method. Once the invoice is set to paid, I'm running some custom code. At this point, I'd also like to create a transaction log to appear within the nice little "Transaction History" block. I've tried changing the default photo by replacing the file directly, however, when I upgraded from RC1 to RC2, it was reset to the old one. Is there any setting for this, or a way to change it permanently?

I gave access to some of my members to my Test IPS4 installation. In just one word, they told me: "Beutifull". Well done Invision, my Members approves the new IPS4 For now they have only 2 complains. The ability to Search only in topic Titles, and if a member makes 2 consecutive posts, to merge them. But the rest is so good, that this 2 complains don't influence their opinion about how good IPS4 is.

Hi I just wanna say that I am surprised by how I am enjoying IPB 4 so far, I honestly didn't think I would but after upgrading I am starting to warm to it. I do however have a couple of questions: I have a Support Menu Item & I have no idea how to remove it? I am also looking at setting a fixed width for my Forums, does anyone know where I would do this? I used to use Tom Christians Plugin.
