In the blogs app you have numerous templates where the links simply goes to #comments. Which is no good in cases where there is numerous comments. You also have an unread marker, but the unread marker is absolutely no different from the regular link, even if you have read the blog post itself, which is not consistent with the forums app. My suggestions: 1. You should consider switching out all #comments-links with getNewComment for members. 2. If you haven't read the blog post itself you should be taken to the blog post. Right now it just hides on the post level. If someone who is ignored makes a thread, it is still seen. If someone who is ignored is quoted, it is seen. Is there a better way? Maybe completely hide the threads and collapse the quotes from ignored users? If the mod does not exist, I will pay someone to create it.

I think it would be an awesome feature in Pages that if you choose a "URL" field that you get an option to "Count Hits" which probably would be an off/on switch where when the URL is clicked/used then it adds to the count to show how many it's had. Additionally having the ability to edit or reset the hits would be awesome. To do it perhaps it just creates a column with the same ID but just an _hits after it so that it's there and can be used in the templates just like that key? It's a thought and would help determine how many outbound hits URLs get from page resources.

You have a notice that pop down on the frontend when a new update is available that can be dismissed using a cookie. I like this, it's great, I'm on here daily so will know when an update is out but for those that aren't or don't visit the admin panel often, I can see being really handy. My brilliant suggestion would be to open this functionality up for us all to display our own notices set in the admin or mod control panel, it could be used to display all kinds of messages for example we have just upgraded and it's essential you clear your cache before using the forum as the editor will not be functioning correctly. Just to clarify: So far I can see the only IP.Pages content which is indexed in the IPS4 search function is the part of the content-field using a database. So the content from custom-fields and from pages which are build with Manuell-HTML are not indexed. Is this right?

In the interest of making the view more compact, it would be nice if the Featured Topics block didn't show the little "Featured Topic" indicator. It's sort of redundant in that display!

Can we get the menu to change to show that your sat on a custom url? like it does with built in ips pages. As apps and custom urls to your own pages dont show that your on them. For instance if im on my homepage i would like to have it look like this. Instead of this. For me it works on Articles, Activity and Other but Not on Main Forum, Off-Topic Forum or Videos! Either way i think this would be very important to many people, because having the menu act the same way across the board should be an obvious needed thing. I'd love to see an option to add a custom class to menus (and menu items) in the nav. This would allow us to easily target a specific nav item and style it differently from the others. Very helpful if you'd like a specific nav item to stand out (such as a donate button). It looks like this is possible in the desktop view, but not on mobile.

noticed a nice little options to add email accounts for notification about site updates. Would be nice to check a box and indicate SMS option so i could add my carriers email gateway like ##########@txt.att.net (first 10 is a cell phone) this would make the content of the message terse and conform to 140 character standard.

I think the ability to accept Bitcoin as payment in Nexus should be added. Bitcoin is exploding in price at the moment! http://www.bitcoinprice.com/#USD I'm not sure how it could be incorporated from a technical standpoint, but it's something that would be awesome, and there is a growing demand, which will only increase in the future. I for one would LOVE to have this.

The Gallery is awesomeness, but in an earlier version there used to be the option to FORCE users to create 'Albums' for categories such as 'Member Related Albums'. It would be nice to see this in it once again, as of now, they can freely put images anywhere they want with no organization or thought to it. The option to ALLOW Albums is great, but having the option to FORCE members to MAKE an album or use a current one they own would be even better!

When setting discounts for groups, bundles etc, you should be able to set a percentile price reduction and designate if it can work with coupon codes or othe discounts as well. The complete lack of percentile discounts makes things very limiting. Side note, there's a bug where UPGRADING a product if you're in a group that gets a reduced price for the product you're upgrading to does NOT reflect the discounted price, in other words, if admins get a product for 0 dollars if they BUY it, but it normally sell for 59 dollars, if they try to obtain the object through an upgrade instead of a purchase, they are charged the full price.

It should be able to set it so only the latest status update from each member is listed. As it currently is, if one member changes their status multiple times back to back, the entire block is taken over by all their status' instead of allowing other users.

I wish there was a way to only see the only last unread post in a topic, rather than every single post in a topic that hasn't been read. It just clutters up the screen with way too much info. It doesn't make any sense to me to have posts sorted by time as the main sort. Topic sort should be first then by time. Give me a + icon I can click if I really want to expand the stream, but show me the timeline by topic, not absolute time.

After some issues with my upgrade that rendered the message board unusable in some area, @bfarber was able to identify and fix the issue. It ended up being an issue with Gravatars. So, thank you for your hard work and getting that fixed. What I really wanted to say in this message was GREAT job, IPS. I know your focus of this 4.1 release was user engagement and it is working very well on my site. Just tons and tons of posts since 4.1. Would be cool if these acted like a status update in the stream (and on page), in other words, be able to like and comment on them directly from stream, and show it larger (and when hovering show the full size instead of the hovercard). So it becomes a status on their page and when they change pics again, the old status is still there. For this to work well, full size profile pics would need to be larger. Which imo they should be anyway. (Is that a setting?) Of course this could be disabled in admin, because that's already a setting (not to show pic changes in stream). Or it could be treated as a status. Thanks

there are some low hanging fruit that would really help if they were accessible from the front of the site vs having to long in to the ACP and establish context to execute a function... Log in As - I am looking at someones profile or reading an issue they are having - being able to click button to log in as them - (even if it challenges me for my credentials its fine) but right now i have to open a new tab in to the ACP and then navigate to the members do a search for that person just to be able to log in as them to identify an issue. As I understand it, the setting to control the max age of posts searchable applies to both content streams and the regular search function. I've got a ten year archive of posts I've made a point of keeping searchable. I'd like to give users the option of searching as far back as they need, while having my server brought to its knees by streams. Can we have the settings be independent of each other? Also, is there no longer an option to use imagemagic instead of libgd in the gallery? IM gives vastly superior results and I would prefer to be able to still use it. I'd also like to know if it's no longer used so I can uninstall it from my server.

I'm loving everything about IPS 4 at the moment except for how groups have to be managed by administrators. I'd love to see an app or a new feature that allows administrators to set "ownership" of a group so that they can add members to it as they need. I've tried Group Collaboration and I don't think this does what I need it to.

When logging into paypals dev site, I noticed they were talking about v.zero (another paypal company) and they are accepting PayPal, Apple Pay, Android Pay, Venmo, Bitcoin and most credit and debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB and Diner’s Club. Would be nice to get an update to what we have already since we already have the ability to support paypal.
