Hi, This is the message I received from the sys admin of my server. Just sharing this as I have little knowledge to interpret and correct this. "Also we have tested the domain speed from our end and we could not find any critical load issue on domain. However we have noticed that the domain is taking more number of URL redirects to load the website. The URL redirects are made using HTTP status codes 301 and 302. They tell the browser to go to another location. Inserting a redirect between the user and the final HTML document delays everything on the page since nothing on the page can be rendered and no components can be downloaded until the HTML document arrive…

With the Marketplace EOL and providers switching to or relying on their IPS sites, it's really not the time to also be losing the built-in Support Ticket system. Providers will need it more now than before and all the third-party offerings are not free after trials end, require additional sharing of client data and require integration. The integrated system with Commerce is so convenient and with the planned Commerce improvements even more so. Please can you consider a stay of execution or perhaps even simplify it to make it less timely for IPS to maintain? Thank you.

Please can you add Gallery to the available RSS Import areas (under AdminCP > RSS Feed Imports)? We only have Pages and Forums, plus Blogs via the front end. Example: Import Nasa's image of the day from their RSS Feed: https://www.nasa.gov/rss/dyn/lg_image_of_the_day.rss Many thanks!

Hello everyone, I don't know about you, but as a forum owner selling subscription plans and products, I will have to generate lot of invoices and download all of them. However ACP will not do any of that, I know IPS is not an accounting software but it just doesn't have the minimum requirements to get the work done to deliver to the accountant. I don't know about other forum owners selling products and subscriptions, but I have from 500 invoices every quarter. And there is not a way to download all the invoices, not even the possibility of manually generating a PDF of a single invoice 😞 😞 I don't know about other countries but where I live in Spain, and in…

Currently they are... Everyone can see this album Only the owner can see this album I want to choose who can see this album It would be better if it were like this... Everyone on the web can see this album Only Registered Members can see this album Only the owner can see this album I want to choose who can see this album The reasoning is that some members don't mind their sharing their photos with fellow community members, but they don't want it exposed to innumerable random guests perusing the site.

Spotted that there are some x.com/ URLs now appearing for the normal tweet links - as a result, oembed will fail and they'll be links. 'twitter.com' => array( 'https://publish.twitter.com/oembed', static::EMBED_TWEET ), 'mobile.twitter.com' => array( 'https://publish.twitter.com/oembed', static::EMBED_TWEET ), Tested and adding x.com equivalents of the above to oembedServices in \IPS\Text\Parser will sort it out. 'x.com' => array( 'https://publish.x.com/oembed', static::EMBED_TWEET ), 'x.twitter.com' => array( 'https://publish.x.com/oembed', static::EMBED_TWEET ),

Hi, We enabled archiving here and I noticed a behavior that you may want to address. When a topic is archived, the "state" row is kept in its original value (e.g. "open/closed"). When a closed topic is archived, then we end up having two messages saying that the topic is closed: one because it is archived and another becaise it is closed: This is clearly redundant. When the topic is set as "open", the second message doesn't show up. I believe the row "state" is kept with its original value because if we ever need to restore the topic, it must be restored to with its original state. Anyway, maybe it a matter of adding a logic it a template to …

Many forums where we are likely to post code have a sidebar, so the smaller tool bars are then activated. Please can you add the Code button to the CKEditor Toolbar for tablets? Many thanks!

We have 3 ways to sell our services but some times we need to combinate different services in a single sell. And IPS not let to sell all combinations needed. This settings will be a great feature for upcoming updates: Include course in subscription: Now we can set inicial price and renewal price, only need to enroll in course or courses with subscription. The same function like groups, enroll to X and Y courses and option to reset enroll if purchase expires or is cancelled. Here it is important to consider how we manage course enrolls in upgrades and downgrades. Because diferent subscriptions can enrolled the same course, so shouldn't pay full price. Let …

Hi team, I think that will be a great and necessary update to add different currencies payments for user location. Many forums have customers in Europe, USA, Asia, etc, and we need to receive payments in EUR, USD, etc, for the same products and subscriptions. Only conditioned by user location or user selection can be too. Actually we can add different currencies by languages, but it is'nt functional, because the currencie value change every minute, and If I charge in euros will be not the same import indicated in USD. Actually we can add payment methods by location so we can have many stripe and paypal accounts for every country and every currencie, but we have…

It would be nice if announcements could be constrained by time to start and stop announcements. Sometimes you have embargoed until a specific time - I hate having to get up super early to make the announcement. 🙏

would be nice to see the reach of announcements. Including impressions, clicks, and perhaps who interacted or dismissed it.

Hi IPS, I know you explained inability of efficient implementation of such for self-hosted solutions, however, would you be able to add ability to manually mark accounts to do not send emails to? It would help bounce back in case of using bulk-email send. For now I manually review our inbox and do the same with some workaround to prevent massive bound-backs when sending bulk emails. Having ability to mark accounts with some DB stored flag would help a lot, as I could automate the process without use of custom plugins etc. I think many others could find the ability useful too. Thanks

When a user writes something, the content counter increases, as it should. At some point, the user rank is increased, badges are assigned and groups are promoted. If you delete content now (e.g. spam in a club) the counter does not decrease, user rank remains and a user who effectively has almost no content because everything is always deleted has a high rank and so on. There are rules like new content created (+10 points), user followed (+2 points), you could also get negative rules like content is deleted (-8 points), user is unfollowed (-1 point)? Could you get an option that content from clubs will not be counted, content from forums where the option …

Greeting everyone, I'm thrilled to announce that I have secured an opportunity to interview none other than Charles from Invision Community. This is a rare and exciting occasion, and I believe that involving you as our community members can make this experience even more enriching! In recent happenings, I can imagine some of you might have some questions you'd like to see included in this interview. As I always say, a community is the backbone of any platform. So, I thought: Why not let YOU have a say in the interview? I'm offering all of you a chance to send in your questions, and I'll do our best to include as many as I can in our conversation with Charles. …

... like Facebook and other social platforms do. On my Invision installation, let's presume I visit my board and I have 15 notifications. I scroll down to #15 and click on it and read that post. Then when I return to the Bell icon at the top of the page to open my notifications again, they are all marked read. Couldn't just #15 be marked read and the remaining unread notifications still be in bold type and very clear that they are notifications that have yet to be clicked on?

I wish we could have "Edit" buttons for each lesson on the module block (rather than only for the Quizz as it currently is). This is what I'd like to see:

In Courses, the list of lessons is on the right, the content on the left. I wish there was an option to have the list of lessons on the left, content on the right, which is standard on most online learning platforms.

I feel like having our own "Providers Directory" would be a great addition to the feature set of the Invision Community. Most of our communities thrive around the gathering of experts and for our members to be able to browse the custom services offered by the experts would be greatly useful for both the members and the experts offering their services.

Steps to reproduce Enable/set up 2FA Log into forum Attempt to log into external app with the forum's OAuth (/oauth/authorize/?client_id=client_id_here&response_type=code&scope=scopes&prompt=login) Upon logging in you will be redirected to the forum homepage, not the correct redirect url Disabling 2FA fixes this, as does logging out of the forum first

Would it be possible in Invision 5 to be able to help each other in a community by the possibility of asking simple questions quickly without overloading the forum with useless subjects and also quickly finding answers to questions (a large well-classified FAQ) and that each member can offer services or objects for sale To be able to use all the power that the calendar could offer in the proposal of hourly or daily service, renting a car or an apartment... I give an example for a community of newly settled residents in a foreign country. Each member will need the help of the oldest who will need the help even of the oldest than them... The problem with tele…

I think it'd be useful to be able to save your favourite posts, countless times where posters refer to old posts but no way of finding them (especially if they've been archived)
