... and Gallery ? Hello, In Pages and in the Forums, it's possible to force a specific theme, per category. But when we go on Downloads, or Nexus or the Gallery, the graphic harmony is disrupted. So, all the apps should allow to specify a theme for a particular category. (That was possible in the past, with the 3.0). Regards

Just noticed this - not a major issue for me, but potentially could be so for people running forums on more sensitive / confidential topics. Basically if a user goes back to a pm message and edits it, there's an entry created in the moderator log, including the title of that pm. I realise all pm info is visible via the database anyway. But I suspect there are certain applications where an admin would definitely not want to be seeing any pm info at all during day to day back-end adminning and I wander if this info shouldn't be appearing in the mod logs. I'd certainly rather not have it there - frankly if two users are sending "XXX is a faeces mod" messages I'd rather …

The embed feature of the community content is awesome. But some databases may need customized embed template. And in the current release there is no easy way to set a customized template for embedding for a specific Pages database. Please add this feature.

Now we can't edit height when "keep aspect ratio" is enabled. It's very strange implementation. It should be implemented without disabling of any fields, it must change value in other field when user changes any of them. I.e. if i change height and "keep aspect ratio" is enabled, then width should be adjusted automatically. And vise versa.

In former times, in the calendar stream view, I had my events ordered 4 horizontally in a row on a regular PC screen, similar to event tiles. Now, they are ordered vertically and I almost can't recognize the event header images anymore on a surface book and I have to scroll down ages, if there are a lot events. What happened there? There should somehow still exist an event grid view? The stream also shouldn't display past events! I think the calendar stream view is not very pleasant to my members in its current display. Maybe it has a chronological order now (that was the reason for the change, that IPS support told me), but it is lacking overview. We …

A friend in my forum wants to show a video he took on a visit to see friends in mongolia, but I want it to be click and view. I tried making a video foldier within the forum but it does not work unless subject is downloaded first. Any chance of this?

Please add CSS class which indicates all posts of topic starter in this thread. Something like ipsComment_topic_starter. I.e. while i've startd this topic, i need to have this class added to article element in all my further posts. I know there are some apps on marketplace which allows to style posts of topic starter but they does not work properly in some cases and provides also a lot of useless additional functionality. I'd like to have just that simple change in IPS by default.

We're all waiting for this for a years. There was a lot of topics and posts with suggestions of this since first IPS 4.0.0 pre-alpha. Some of them are dead with alpha-testing forums, but on this forums also a lot of them. Video element, Audio element, mp3, opus, aac, wav, MPEG-4/H.264 are supported in all modern browsers. So could you say can we expect such useful and needed feature in near future?

Hi, I can see that the 4.2 version is no longer detecting if the browser is a mobile device In the \Http\Useragent class, the mobile property is still there, but is always set to false! That's a real issue for developing applications… Is it a bug? Or the Suite will no longer support this feature? Thank you,

If you click on e.g. Pre Sale Questions, you get into this category. If you are in the category and click on page 2, you will get back into all categories ... you will not be in the category "Pre Sale Questions".

Almost 2 years or somewhere near that with IPS now! Had issues at the start. Mainly down to my inexperience. I've lived, breathed and learned what i can from where i can. Even took my first venture into a little javascript and made something work the way i wanted which is neat. I am eager to see what else ips has to offer. I am running out of things to customize. Whether it is a third party plugin or the standard theme. I am eager for more. Because i have enjoyed everything you have offered me so far. And the support staff always do what they can to help me and i derp a lot. Would it be wrong of me to ask for a hint at future plans? I used to love drooling…

My current "Jump To" plugin requires 5 clicks to navigate to a subforum, so it's tedious and people hate it. See image below: What I'd like is for the Jump To option to be a dropdown in the template, which shows all available categories / forums / subforums immediately when clicked. If a user selects an option in the dropdown, bring them to the corresponding page immediately without forcing them to click a separate button to confirm the choice. That would mean 2 clicks instead of 5. Ideally the dropdown would just be filled with "Jump To" by default (or similar), and you could differentiate forums vs. subforums in the dropdown list. Please, make editable the fields that are shown on Pages category items. There are some order by for category database fields that have no sense for my community, like "teaser paragraph". For exemple, I have no teaser paragraph in any record. So the order by this field makes no sense. The same logic for another custom fields that I would not want to be shown on order by.

When we have new posts under moderation, is missing the option to hide the posts. Currently we only have only the opportunity to approve or permanently delete that post. It would be very useful to have the option to hide post under moderation. Thank you.

IPS 4 notifies users in many cases, even when his post is liked. But there are no notifications for such important cases like: User receives warning from a moderator User's topic or post was moved/deleted/split e.t.c. I think, get known that you were warned or why you can't find your topic in a place it was created, is much more important then that your post was liked. Please, add these notification types and make them switched on by default for all users. P.S. I know about "Users must acknowledge issued warnings before posting again?" option, but it's a different thing.

It's been a while since I've made some suggestions but now I've had time to focus on running my website I have come across a few things that could increase productivity for myself and generally makes things either easier for me or better for members.
