To give one quick example: if I'm writing a blog post or forums topic on a book, I'd like to be able to italicise its title in the subject line as per convention. I could also see (within reason, and perhaps limited by group?) support for text color and emoticons/emojis, while not allowing people to post subject lines with long strings of emoticons or special characters.
