Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted January 31, 20187 yr I just noticed that when I send people to the register page, it doesn't have any social log in links. For example Versus clicking on the Sign Up button which gives you those options
January 31, 20187 yr This is already implemented. I would suggest to try the default theme, if it appears there you should contact your theme designer.
January 31, 20187 yr Author Odd. Am I not on the default theme? I thought I was. It's just called 4.2. I just used the Widget, and that worked great.
January 31, 20187 yr My guess is a third party plugin. I don't agree with @Daniel F ? because it looks like you're using the default theme with colorization.
January 31, 20187 yr Author It's not a big deal. I can use the widget. I tried turning every plug & app I have (not too many) off one at a time and CTRL F5 the Reg page. Nothing changed.
January 31, 20187 yr OP is correct. It actually has to do with the trailing slash. It happens here on InvisionCommunity.com too (try another browser or private browsing, or just log out): https://invisioncommunity.com/register/ https://invisioncommunity.com/register The one without the trailing slash doesn't have social sign in options.
January 31, 20187 yr Author Indeed, the above works. Add the trailing slash and it looks great. Thanks! JM
February 1, 20187 yr That appears to be a bug, and I've added it to our internal list to check. Thank you for pointing this out.
