I think it t would be useful if version 4.5 would have an easy way to rename Clubs to Groups by just moving a slider or ticking a box in the ACP instead of manually editing each instance where Club(s) is found in the language file. Would anyone like to see that? I've not used clubs with success in my community because members don't seem to get clubs because they are use to groups on FB.

One thing that is really missing in Invision Community is automation. Sure, we have group promotions (which have, sadly, very limited functionality), but that is about it. I'd love to see a feature, that allowes to create scripts that do stuff automatically. Be it a user that posts in a certain forum and gets a notification, a user that downloads a certain file and gets a group promotion, a user that updates their profile picture and gets whatever... With a flexible system anything should be possible. It would be very helpful to let stuff happen in your community without the need to actually handle everything manually. Or any app really but I apparently misclicked earlier today, whether it be through one of my many alt tabs or I scrolled and clicked or my mouse (which has been angry lately), and turned off the core feature of my site. Pages. The fun part about this is it happened after I logged back into the ACP after hours of being in it so I may have just "clicked" and it was gone...... I'm horribly upset right now. It means my core features of my site have been disabled for over 12 hours (because I don't go refresh a page) because of a simple click mistake in the ACP. Featured topics should be the ones you want to focus some attention at. Yet, currently they are only highlighted briefly in topic list with a small icon and only if you create a dedicated feed for them. I use both of these in my community and the results are underwhelming. I want featured topics to be more prominent. It would be much more eye catching and attention grabbing if we can highlight the background of such topics in activity stream or maybe in topic list as well. I liked your idea about introduction the mktplace inside admincp, but it's too boring search here what receive a updated and go to admin, search AGAIN and put to update. This block is pretty sweet, I think it should have the addition to be able to reorder the images for the slide show, right now to change order requires deleting and re adding them. Also, for the URL option, say I have image A and C to add a link to but not B, there is not option to leave a blank in between images

Feature request for Topic Summary structure: Sticky Post ability, let moderators (author can be included according admin configuration) sticky some posts that contain valuable information or GOODS POSTS. In the moment a post is selected as Sticky Post, moderator has to name the post with a title, so in the Topic Summary will appear the title with direct link to the post.

Maybe this is already possible and I am just not in the know of how to do it. But the widget containers above and below the forums should have the option to be 2 or 3 containers as well as 1. I would like to have a few widgets side by side rather than stacked on top of each other. While it wouldn't make a heap of difference on mobiles, for PC it would look better in some cases to do this. It could be selectable in the ACP which option you would want to go with, perhaps in theme settings

I had forgotten about this bug in APP Pages - even I don't remember in which version of IPS I had reported it. But I remember @Matt solved it then. And now I don't have this bug on my site. But I noticed that in mobile APP - this bug exists. When Date is used in the title, it is displayed as a decimal number - only in mobile APP. When you click on the link - "You do not have permission for this". In a live site everything is OK. See screenshot

Maybe I missed an announcement somewhere.... but, what happened to the "login anonymously" check box on the default login form? In version 4.5 (using default template it's completely gone after upgrade. Yet, that very option still remains under the group settings in the ACP (to give user groups permission to login anonymously). How can they login anonymously... if you strip the option from the login form?

Thanks for the improvement of the widget visibility options, but it still miss one, that is "Only can see pages:". It let us place the widget only in specific page or url, right now I place a block, it show for all clubs, instead only the club where I want.

When i see some friends share a topic about their site and an photo/image appear automatically but since IPS v4 we must upload a "Default Share image" and seeing always same image when we share different topics, this is just annoying Before v4, when i share a topic from my forum, there was already an image of every topic but now, no. An image from the topic is better when sharing, This gets more hits. When IPS will change it like before...? 😒

Can we have an option to hide Donation Goals from the public, and/or a date range to close said donations please? We have seasonal donations which we like to have open for a couple of months, and the only way we can remove this from the public is to delete the donation goal. Would be good is we had a closure date to prevent people donating to that goal, or hide it from public when the goal has ended. Having to delete a goal removes all the information, donations and those who donated, and we like to keep that information.

I want to build a knowledge forum through the Question forum style. Part of the issue I can imagine is the question of repeated issues. Why not implement the Similar Topics Detection feature? With this feature will help so much users avoid to post topics that are already placed. I mean while we introduce the topic title, it automatically appears topics that have similar words in the title and contend. If the user sees some similar title, he can review it first and then decide if he needs to leave a new question.

I would like to suggest adding a feature that when a user wants to create a topic on the forums and a similar thread already exists on the forums, the system should pop up a suggestion with the existing thread to prevent duplicates. I think it would be an exciting and useful feature

OK, so I was told by a developer that IPS plans to discontinue custom button management for CKEditor. 😞 I know there's a rationale behind this from the IPS side of things, but this poses a problem for myself and, I suspect, several other uses here who operate more "writerly" sites - sites that realise they aren't WordPress but would still like functionality to format text and sections in an article, blog post, even a forums post beyond the barebones CKEditor configuration. Hi, attached screenshot to explain the issue and requests: Orange: icon color issue Red: extend the width to full screen. Green: extend the video box as full as possible. If we can remove the spaces issues, it will improve the purpose of the same feature. Because after open the screen, users just have to scroll down or scroll up, and click to the Close icon to exit the page. The width space only reduce the screen size yo show the video and functionality, nothing to help.

Having the marketplace inside of the application in the ACP is a good idea, but - access to the marketplace is governed by having a current license renewal in place. This means that if a license has expired and the user does not wish to renew at this point in time (for whatever reasons), if their site has a catastrophic failure and they need to reinstall from scratch, the applications they have purchase which need to be reinstalled, what happens to them? Will they be available in the ACP or will they need to renew their license before they can access what they have paid for? IPS 4.0 will have responsive layout and will be smartphone friendly. I think that a built in geolocation feature (GPS and IP) would be awesome as a search filter to find nearby community members (with other same interests filter on) or to find nearby products and services offered by the community. I run a fitness website and would be amazing to provide to the community member, for example, a list of nutritionists that are nearby or a list of members nearby that are looking for a training partner. I am onboard with IPS for long, and here is my positive feedback on the current state of the nation: - I love the strategy of moving from Pure forum to communities, with a tightly integrantes set of apps. This was a crucial move that allowed IPS to escape from the fierce competitivo on a shrinking market. As everybody knows, fóruns are disappearing, yet people are still getting together. This is why i prefer IPS package Over XF ir VB because there is a whole set of tightly packed tools to get my people collaborating. - I love the new theme. Request ability to exclude some specifics forums. I have a forum set up to work with thumbnail, throught a widget show the topics with thumbnail, but all others forums topics without thumbnails, the problem is when user change to Fluid View, all topics together some with thumbnail and anothers not. This cause bad order visibility problem. That I need is an option that let me don´t include the forum with thumbnail in the Fluid View mode.
