I'm familiar with adding new buttons to the editor (and am slowly converting old bbcode to the new system) but when I try to add a new separator it appears all the way to the left on the editor, and is unmovable. What's a good workaround for this?

Hi guys, For the past two weeks i've been attempting to install IPB 4, but after I've put in the database details and my username and password that I want to have I just end up in a redirect loop? I've created a few jpeg & giff icons which are bright and brilliant on my hard drive but when I upload them to my new IPS 4.3 site, the are muted and faded. Is there something I can do? Thanks

My community requires that we are able to set users as banned, but still be able to access the public content. Now, I am well aware that it we could create a group to move people to, however the current functionality of the banned option is perfect, apart from the fact we want to allow banned members to signout. I tried adding a logout button to the template, however this just results in the constant error of not allowing a banned member to do anything. Is there a way of doing this?

Hi All, In version 3.x of IP.Board, I could grab a copy of our forum from our website (sql dump and file copy) and create a local instance on my computer for the purposes of development. I just tried this in version 4.03 and it does not like it, icons and styling are out of whack and things are missing as you can see from the attached image. Probing further, on our public web server copy there are 7 JS files stored in uploads/javascript_global, on my local copy there are now 746 JS files and the names are different and there seems to be many duplicates. Since the names are different, it's causing referencing issues that are likely causing the the issues outlined above…

After upgrading from IPS 4rc7 to IPS 4.0.2, I found some problems: When trying to access an article, I am told that the content I am looking for cannot be found ( "We could not locate the item you are trying to view" ). I attached a screen snippet of the error I am getting. The title of the page (The test displayed in my browser tab) says that I don't "have the permission for this". The error code given is 3T252/2. How should I proceed?

In IPB 3 it was possible to make blocks that only displayed one article/record. For example, I could make one block that only displayed the first article, I could then make another block that only displayed the second article, and so on. But I don't see any option to do this in Pages in IPB 4. Or am I blind or something?

Hi, i am trying to get used to the databases in Pages. So far i have been able to replicate the famous "bug tracker". I hope someone who's handy at databases in Pages could tell me how to: 1) After 15 days have passed since a user has posted a record, a button to "bump" the record up in the listing should appear on the record display screen. How do i do this? 2) The "Bump" would have to set the publish date of the record as "today's date", as they are ordered by publising data (most recent on the top). How can i do this? I would be very grateful if someone could help me. P.S. - Please move this topic if it's not on the right place.

Just got this software and trying to get it to work on windows but the installer crashes and i dont really know why. Tried to contact the support but they do not provide support for windows The Installer is stopping at the last step, no errors, nothing ... For some reason when i add a new avatar, the crop box / arrows don't show up so i cant crop avatar pictures. Using IPB 4.0.3 and it does it on the default theme as well as a custom one.
