Any official docs on how to upgrade 3.4 to 4.0 series? What files are saved/changed/removed?

Right, I don't use wamp. So basically we are uploading the entire 4.0 package over everything, removing nothing, changing no settings. Just like a regular upgrade? My site sponsor is getting a little freaky having his advertisement tore down waiting for ips and I doubt they get to me before the weekend. The most basic of instructions IPB can't put up in docs... This is getting worse for documentation. I mean why in the world would you not put something like this in the docs for everyone instead of making them search for a answer that may not even fit.

Now I'm even hesitant on upgrading right now manually because if something goes wrong I doubt ipb will get to me before the weekend leaving my site and sponsor in the cold. I should of learned from the past.

Yep, not so well... 4.0.6 and still can't upgrade from 3.4.7 Busy site down, Now the fun begins.
