I know that if I have a template tag like this: {file="$image->thumb_file_name" extension="gallery_Images"}and I want to get the file as an object, then I can do this: {{$file = \IPS\File::get("gallery_Images", $image->thumb_file_name);}}What I want now is to fetch a resource as an object. I know the template tag looks like this: {resource="backgrounds/1.jpg" app="core" location="front"} but I can't find a Resource class anywhere in the code base. Has anyone managed to do this before?

Hello guys, We wonder if there is a way to only allow a certain group to view a blog. We are an organization and thus have some news we only want our real members to be able to see. However the only restricting option i can see is to only allow certain members to view the blog but no options for groups? have I missed something? //Asgard Gaming

Hello! Why when I put the value of any of the fields (IP Content), then the system inserts a <wbr> so the link is broken? Example: site.c<wbr>om Links dont work! (I posted this topic just a while ago, but it since seems to have been deleted? I didn't get any messages about why, and I can't imagine it's any sort of violation of any Terms of Service. I'm a new IPS v4 forums convert from UBB threads: http://simhqmotorsports.com/forums/ I got a question from one of my editors that I can't find the solution, or more likely, don't know how to ask the question properly in search, so I'll post my editor's question here: "You see on the right that all the topic titles are truncated while there's a ton of dead space in the center. It doesn't matter how big i resize the window, the topic titles stay at a fixed width (ie truncated) while the dead space gets bigger. Is there any way to reduce the dead space in the middle and give more space to the topic titles so they can be seen in their entirety? Probably doesn't need loads…

I've set new member policy such that they have to validate their email and then get manually approved by admin. IPB sends me emails every time someone registers for a new account. Is there any setting that I can set so that I get an email only after a user has validated their email and is waiting for admin approval? Thanks

Hello, I'm trying to find documentation on how to post a topic via the form helper (https://community.invisionpower.com/4docs/advanced-usage/development/form-helper-r77/). Do you know of any documentation or could you guide me on how to do it. It's been running for 30 minutes now and has just reached 0.13% on a 321 MB database. I wish there had been a prominent warning that this operation could literally take hours and I'd have done some prep or simply not bothered upgrading.

After upgrading to 4.0.13 I visited Promotion, Advertisements images and they are gone but the "alt" is still there. see home page http://realestateradiocommunity.com/ I have tried adding new ads , deactivating and reactivating, but images don't show up after update. Any help,, and yes ad images are gone using default theme

I don't know where else to go with this. Basically I'm having a problem with my website, and IPB. some people can access it and some people get a load of CSS problems like images not loading and so on. Here are some of the things that I have tried to do:Adding them in a separate folder in the public.html and then sub-domaining and rediricting the main html and that worked for a little while but now its not working.Any suggestions please?

Good evening everyone. Let me start off by saying, EasyPost works as expected. But I have a few issues I can't seem to pinpoint myself, so I was hoping someone else knew how to fix this. In the attached screenshot you can see that, while it does give us the postage values. It cuts off the postage names, and doesn't show us the estimated times for all value. I tried to add a day in the configuration to see if it would change, yet nothing happened. I'm comfortable enough to poke around the code myself if someone can point me in the right direction!

Haven't upgraded yet so asking here... In 3.4 I have 2 PayPal gateways and 2 2Checkout gateways. This is how I was told by support to offer a dedicated recurring billing solution at checkout, so the user can choose PayPal or Paypal Subscription for example. In the gateway settings, admins can select "Enable PayPal Subscriptions Support" for PayPal and "Enable Recurring Payments" for 2CO and this sets the gateway up for subscriptions only. So when you offer the non-recurring and the recurring gateways the user has the choice. In 4.0 I don't see this. How is it handled exactly? And do I need to disable those recurring gateways for PP and 2CO? Thanks

I currently have a site that has evolved into quite the mess. It has about 85,000 members, but most of their details exist in two databases* other than IPB (but not other forum software listed on the migration page) . . . but the site ALSO features an IPB with some duplication/overlap. And was wondering how I could/should move forward with all that in the future less confusingly, probably continue in some fashion with the newest version of IPB, but also hopefully get everyone under one member database "umbrella," and then wondering . . . could I actually just get IPB to do everything I need to do here? It would really be awesome if I could. And I'm imagining it's proba…

I am probably missing something... A regular member started a conversation with me. I invited to that conversation 3 other moderators. Now I want to remove them from the conversation but I don't have this option available when clicking the small triangle beside their names. The only thing available there is to send a new message. Can anyone please assist? Thanks in advance!
