New Member Email

I've  set new member policy such that they have to validate their email and then get manually approved by admin. IPB sends me emails every time someone registers for a new account. Is there any setting that I can set so that I get an email only after a user has validated their email and is waiting for admin approval?

There is no setting for this to my knowledge. But it certainly sounds like it would be sensible behavior to not send the notification for approval until the user has done their part of the process.

Yes, exactly my thought. That's not how it is right now though.

Would any of the moderators/admins care to comment on this too?
