Do you use firefox? If yes, that is a known bug that is resolved in the next version :)

Work around:

  • Use a different web browser
  • Select the url, click on the "add link" button in the editor and manually add the URL in "URL". Go to the end of the URL in the post and press enter.

Question, I'm kinda forgetting this but what is required to post a video in a article. I've done it in one of my site articles but I tried it again in another and only get a link. I remember in IPB 3.7.4, we had to use the "media" tag when posting Youtube videos but I'm lost on how to go about this in IPB 4.0.9.2. Anyone mind clarifying this for me?

Example of what I'm talking about on my page:

Hello ! :)

I've been trying to post Youtube videos in my blogs (IPB version 4.0.12.1) for the last 30 minutes... I always got a link instead of a video, whatever I tried.

=> With Chromium and Firefox + Ubuntu : it doesn't work at all.

=> Using Firefox on a PC/Windows 10 : it doesn't always work...

=> Using Chrome on a PC/Windows 10 : it worked, but not for videos posted on Dailymotion (only Youtube).

I suppose this is a bug ?...

Thank you. :)
