I noticed on clubs you take the threads and place them into forum subforms. I feel the blogs take away from the community (i.e members making blogs about subforms that are already created); and need to be pushed into posting more on the forum. When I try to convert them I get this (is it a bug?) it shows "community" and so I assume there was a easy way to convert them -- it also allows me to move them into clubs said members are in: Thanks 🙂

Right now i have a basic page and using the WYSIWYG object to make this table, all the version links will be clickable. How could i put this data in a database and display it in this fashion. I can't seem to connect the dots to make the content fit the look.

Hi there, me again ... sorry, I have only just upgraded from 3.4 to 4.5 and have to do about one million settings and configurations. I noticed something ugly on the index page. There is a title section on top of the forums listing which just says "Forum" (and then on the far right there's the button to create a new topic). If you are in an actual forum with topics, one level lower, that block will show the name of that forum (or subforum). But on the start page it makes no sense whatsoever that it says "Forum". Hoping this one can be answered by one of the devs out there who play with CSS on a regular. I have built a custom contact page that uses the forum css classes to produce sections with links. For some unexplainable reason there is no simple option to add more Google Fonts. There are only 5-6 to select from. Or maybe I am looking in the wrong places ... Does someone know where to find the template or css or code which I would simply edit to add the fonts I want?

Is it possible to select different "marked messages" per user group? At the moment we can mark a message but all messages have the same background. For example: Admin has a yellow badge = Dark yellow border + Light yellow background Moderator has blue badge = Dark blue border + Light blue background ... Is this possible? I'm still on IPB 4.4.

Hello everyone. A few months ago my site was migrated to another server, and the emojis were corrupted as they used a mysql dump with the wrong character set. Anyway, not much that I can do about that now, but I would like to clean up the traces that now simply show as a question mark: ? (New emojis from the migration date onwards show fine though). But, the result is that I have 2 years of content with question marks where they shouldn't be, and this could confuse readers. I have it set up right in Admin CP: But everytime I click on it in the forum, it's always set to 365 days somehow If I change it on that screen it's just temporary, it goes right back to 365 days on a refresh What am I doing wrong?

Hello, I run my own web server and as of a few updates ago, the updater no longer functions. Before, it was able to download and extract the files onto the filesystem all on its own but now it no longer does that and asks me for FTP information to perform an upgrade. On 4.3 and 4.4, it would try downloading onto the filesystem and just tell me that something went wrong (without telling me what went wrong) and it asked me to do it manually but now it straight up prompts me for ftp information. I don't have FTP set up on this webserver and I don't want to create an SFTP account just for that. Am I perhaps missing some PHP modules or filesystem permissions? There a…

In the last few months I've noticed a sharp uptick in my spam reports from Comcast and other large email providers. When I view the spam reports, 90%+ of them contain this auto-response: The number of these reports has been steadily increasing over time, so the risk is that my site/domain/server will be blocked from sending email to many large providers like Comcast. What is clearly happening here is that bots are trying to post, and are inserting either random email addresses from a spam list, or simply generating fake email addresses. I had the Post Before Registering turned on and have just looked at my data and found my site is saturated with spam posts. In one forum every single thread has a spam post at the end of it...over a couple of thousand spam posts. I have now turned off the Post Before Registering but can anyone tell me what happens to the spam posts now...luckily they don't show in the site for users to see but how can I get rid of the ones that have already been made now that I have turned this "non-feature" off...thanks

Hi folks, I have two different oAuth2 identity providers connected to my invision forum. Both of them working great. Now, I have the order to link their sign ins vice versa on their sign in pages. But I have no idea how to trigger sign on for oauth2 login with http/javascript. I already tried to start some HTTP POST to url/index.php?/login/ with the correct processLogin ID, but I just get a 403 forbidden.
