In admincenter I set the date of publication (page) **.**.2009 - after saving - date = today(now). Moderator on the site (permission to change the date - enabled) - adds a page with a previous date - the selected date is not saved! *To set the desired date, you need to re-edit the page and save! ** I think the rule is not handled when you create the page, when you edit the date...(the system doesn't remember your selection).

Clubs - "Read Only" "Everyone can see the club and its posts, but only members can post. Users must be invited by the leader." *A user who is not a member of a club can comment on the club's blog - why? ** On the forum - comments are closed to non-members!

This started today, Several members including me can no longer log into our website. Three of us are the administrators. I keep getting this insecure connection warning and it won't allow me to login. I tried two different web browsers, and two different computers and my cell phone. Now I saw where the PhP has to be version 8 from now on so I went on Hostmonster (our domain server) and changed it. I also contacted them and they checked things on their end and told me it was a an issue with the software. There was an update for invision pending, but none of the administrators can log in now to do the update. I don't know what to do or where the problem is. Mike …

I have inherited the job managing the Invision Web site for my organization. I could use some help in determining how to link a product to a calendar event, to posts on the forum, and to a non operating link on the top of our web page. I have created a product which consists of selling tickets for a fundraising event. The product has been created and appears to work. An event in the calendar has also been created. As mentioned above, there is a link on the top of our web page for this event/product, but that link does not work and directs me to "contact support". Your help would be greatly appreciated. I only have Forums which form part of our Invision product. The only gateway is Paypal. If wanted to cancel all Subscriptions that people have set up in Paypal (En Masse), is there a way of doing it within the Payment Settings on Admin. I'm checking with Paypal as well. I'm contemplating closing the Forums Project and exploring the path of least resistance? 🙂 Anyone got any experience of this. Thanks

Hello, What happens when a user requests to join a club? Is there a way the user can see a REJECTION MESSAGE when the admin/moderator rejects his request? Is there a place where I can write a message to be shown to the user whose request to join a club is rejected? Thanks

Trying to go from 4.7.0 -> 4.7.4 As soon as I set php from 7.4 to 8.0 I can no longer access the AdminCP and get this error (below) and cannot go any further. Reverting to 7.4 is the only way for me to access the AdminCP again but the main site is fine. [[Template core/admin/global/globalTemplate is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]] Tried going into theme editor and restoring default theme and setting as default. Tried clearing system cache. Hi community and thanks in advance. We have a very big community with IPS 4.5.4.2 and we need to move forward with upgrade to IPS 4.7.4. We know that we need PHP 8 and we think two options: 1) make the update one by one, that is, from version to version, until you reach the last one that does not need PHP8. And then work in the new server and update to the 4.7.4. 2) create new install of fresh 4.7.4, and then use importer to import from IPS 4.5.4.2 (o don't know is this its possible) Recommendations? opinions?? Extreme Beginner: 2 questions please. Can members get a "Member Title" under their photo? Can members get a "Member ID Number" under their photo? This would be their number when they registered. I cannot find in the members list if they have a number based upon the order they registered.

We are gradually experimenting on our test site with the implementing of PHP 8 before we go on to upgrade the live site. I'm very pleased to say that most things seem to work but one resource – Automatic Social Promotion by @Adrian A.doesn't work and appears to be "locked". A developer has very kindly come up with a modification which he says will solve the problem and allow it to work with the new PHP version. We have made the modification but the resource still says "locked". How can we unlock it please?

I'm struggling to add the discord oauth, i'm unsure about the information endpoint is this it: https://discord.com/api/users/@me? also the parameters I'm not sure how to write them, there's an error somewhere, when I try to log in the discord log in screen to authorise pops up just fine but when it sends me back to the website it doesn't log me in, instead, I get an error, also the scopes should be identify and email?

Hello, I've been trying to find how to change the Club permissions so that ONLY certain user groups can see the clubs or even request to join the club. I just can't find it. It looks like the user groups are not integrated with the Clubs. I've created a few Clubs and I want these clubs: To be invisible to certain user groups Or IF a member within USER GROUP X tries to request to join the club, he will be rejected because his user group is NOT allowed to join I just can't see how to do that. Hello, Are there any settings of showing the directories directly when users click the [Downloads] button? By default, the [Downloads] button pointed to /files/, if I want to set it to /files/directories, are there any settings to do it? Or editing the Menu is the only way? Thanks.

I have been having endless reports about users trying to register an account and trying to reset passwords sometimes links being sent to their emails and most of the time they aren't. If/when verification links are sent and the user clicks them, it tells them "You are not awaiting validation for a lost password request." I have no idea what to do or how to fix this issue because it's been a problem a large chuck of users have and continuously report. Not sure where there is a setting that drives this, as I thought the post settings state a maximum image dimension and anything larger gets resized to it. Somehow it seems some are being resized in a topic while others aren't (same topic post, same poster). The only place I see thumbnails mentioned is in Gallery settings and these aren't in or from Gallery but rather direct uploads to the forum topic. Hello, This is Jon Cross with the SFA, we have custom design on our community and single-sign-on. I went to install the latest update and it warned me that if I did it would break our SSO and potentially affect our design. I have run several updates over the last year without getting this sort of warning so I was hesitant to proceed.
