In admincenter I set the date of publication (page) **.**.2009 - after saving - date = today(now).
Moderator on the site (permission to change the date - enabled) - adds a page with a previous date - the selected date is not saved!

*To set the desired date, you need to re-edit the page and save!

** I think the rule is not handled when you create the page, when you edit the date...(the system doesn't remember your selection).

Sorry, Im a little confused what you mean here. You could you perhaps screenshot what you are seeing?

I can't make a screenshot... Only video will help )))
Create a page and choose a date of its creation, for example 22,05,2010. Or any other date in the past. The date will not be saved! (It does not matter if you create a page in admincentre or on the site).
To save the desired date - you will need to edit the page again and specify the date again. *** Not saved the first time.

I am not able to replicate this on the latest release with no 3rd party items enabled. Please disable all 3rd party items and test this again (including theme). Should you then still be seeing the same issue, I will need to know which database, and which user you are using to test with

I have created a ticket on this, and we can correspond on there, rather than in PM

If I had known that the field where you can change the date is for future dates, I wouldn't have asked...
I thought it was a bug... )))
Sherlock stopped smoking... ))
