I will try to help you.  I believe you are speaking of the image carousel on the main Gallery page:

Note the "Featured" tag on the image.  If you choose to feature images, a manual process, then this carousel will scroll through ALL featured images.  If you do NOT feature any images, the carousel will scroll through the last 5 uploaded (most recent) images.
For my purposes, when a member creates a personal album, I select one image in their album to feature.  To feature an image, you open the image, Scroll down to the "Manage Image" drop down menu, select "Feature" to toggle on/off as a featured image.

Unfortunately, navigation issue still remains.  Was this for a different issue?

Thank you both for submitting access details. I have transferred these both to separate tickets as while your issues are similar, they are not exactly the same in testing on both your communities so I'd like to give our developers a chance to look at both.
Just a heads up for the future, they saved correctly. On reload, however, the password dots in the input box will be different than the amount of characters you put it. This is on purpose.

Was that an old URL of yours that may be posted somewhere? Ultimately, I would not be too concerned with 404 errors. Bots/humans are going to do weird things and the software is working right now to simply just show a 404 error.
If you're worried about it, you may wish to bring the IP address up to your hosting provider and ask for recommendation on if it is legitimate traffic or not. If it isn't, they likely can block it for you.

It would indeed be a question for your hosting company there, unfortunately.

Apologies, we may have replied by mistake in this topic. As you may have noticed, we issued a new blog today announcing gallery updates and new features. This issue does not exist in the new gallery so it has been decided that we will not perform this bug fix as the application is changing. Unfortunately, there is no hard release yet for the gallery updates. I am sorry for any confusion here.

When I was migrating the site to Invision - I forgot that I was going to do a domain alias with a redirect to the new domain...
And now I will create a subdomain, where it will be a test version to test all the plugins and updates... for new projects )))

These can only be changed when you change your main URL, so you should use a domain you can point elsehwhere if needed. I have reset it on this occasion for you

We do read each and every single feature suggestion that our community gives us, and I would say a lot of them are passed on for "triage", further discussion within the team and/or review.
Taking into account the current workload we have with bug fixes, new updates, enhancements and app-specific updates, it sometimes is difficult to get back to each and every person. There are occasions where we specifically post a 'no can do', so the fact that you haven't received a response is still a positive thing. 🙂

Why is there no such important settings in the admin center?
I'm sure many people don't upload a 5000x5000 cover-image for a calendar event! When the right column is enabled - image width = 970 pixels. Why would you upload a larger picture at that width?

IPS generally does not comment on feature suggestions.  I generally would suggest watching the release notes.  If it's included, it will be noted there.

We're going to add a noindex meta tag to this page, so it won't be indexed anymore with a future release.

It’s already built into the framework if you can add the necessary HTML code to the widget. Example:
<div class="ipsWidget" data-ipssticky data-ipssticky-relativeto="#ipsLayout_sidebar"> </div> I use that for sticky sidebar ads. 
(P.S. Only works well if the block is the last block in the sidebar)

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.
 

This was not fixed in 4.7.5 but will be addressed in a future release.
