@TheJackal84 - Any update for 4.5? Did the new update get approved by IPB?
    Thank you!

    Hi @cafeboricua
This plugin uses the native Our Picks, which means any feature is stock.  We don't change or modify any of the features.
As far as I can tell, you cannot edit or customize the promoted content in Our Picks once you publish.  However, I'm sure IPS would appreciate your suggestion in Feedback

I totally get this, and have complained about this with other developers.  But I also know how much life can get in the way, and after one is here for a while one gets a sense of who the serious developers are, so @TheJackal84 still gets my thumbs-up 🙂.  Here's hoping your bad times are brief times!

Thank you. I think that all people really want is some regular communication. That would make people feel calmer and give them more confidence

Yes, he should.  That said, all I have to add is that while we haven't heard from @TheJackal84 in a little while, he does have a rep for being one of the more reliable developers.  I have never had issues with him, so while I do think this app should have been updated some time ago I want to see what happens.

@Gabriel Torres  I asked support how to edit a title from within the post, and it was pointed out to me that editing the first post allows you to edit the title. Not ideal but reasonable.
I'd prefer to see the "Edit title" option in the "Moderation Actions" dropdown menu, rather than another hidden click + hold option (which our moderators didn't discover until we found out about it accidentally and let them know). The other inconvenient side effect of this hold + click option (other than poor discoverability) is that when used in the forum section, right-clicking to copy a thread URL causes the title field to be inadvertently made editable.

I agree… but I don't know if this is the place to post about it. I hope so.
Yes, from that screen you can click right through to the forum where the topic is located, but sometimes it's on page 4 or 7 or something and you can't find it readily.

    Hi,
One feature that would improve a lot the moderation process would be the option to "quick edit" the topic title from inside the topic itself, i.e. by clicking and holding the title with the mouse.
    Thanks.

Yes, it would be very interesting.
And it would also help with the blocking that PayPal does on balances received for transactions carried out by my customers.
    This situation is somewhat complicated.
It would also help in cases of disputes and or similar.

The idea would be to provide a way for our customers to download their respective invoices for organization purposes.
Some of my clients have been asking me for this a way to be able to attach and or download: PDF all their respective transaction history.
I didn't find anything in the marketplace that could be useful in this way.

Well I agree that it's a bit worrying that there is no update so far – but for the couple of years before the recent 4.5 Invision version, it worked pretty well

Yes that would be a workaround but not when you have hundreds of them! If a service is build to charge members, the backend to manage those payments should also be built. There will be clients that have hundreds and thousands of payments. We just can't waste our time using the print function and then viewing the invoice, then generate the invoice and save it. There should be a function that allows us to download all invoices from a predetermined date range.
    Thanks a lot

I second this idea. IPS lacks the possibility to download an invoice, or letting the members download their invoices.
IPS should allow admins and members to download invoices. And the administrator should be able to download all invoices at once.

I would second something similar. As it’s always been a hot topic in the past and we’ve still seen no improvement on commerce.
It really would be nice IPS to get this in for 5.5 and really concentrate on our commerce app.

OptimusBain got a reaction from Natea in disable grid view for certain categories
It would be great to have a new functionality that would allow us to disable the Grid View on certain forum categories. When the grid view is selected as default, every forum category will be in grid view, it just can't be disabled for specific forum categories. And that would be great.
The grid view works great for many forums, but there are sometimes where certain forum categories look better, more accessible and user-friendly in normal view. Could this function be created?
I found a plugin that enables the Grid View on certain categories when the forum is set in traditional mode. That functionality should also be built-in the backend of IPS because it would give us a lot of flexibility. I asked the creator of the plugin if he could create that functionality. However, I strongly believe that IPS backend should have built-in the possibility to enable/disable grid view for any forum category. Thanks a lot

OptimusBain reacted to Aramaech in Widget block visibility per sub-forum on admin cp
A feature in the admin cp somewhere that lists all active widget blocks giving each a drop-down forums selector to check off which sub-forums the block would be visible on, would be very convenient.  It would allow for completely custom block and page layouts per sub-forum, increasing the software's layout versatility substantially with a relatively small addition.

Yes this is possible if I read it all correctly. When making your category you have the option of making it a forum instead, removing the need for the category. This way you’d have loads of separate forums.

OptimusBain reacted to KT Walrus in Grid View and Forum Descriptions
I'm creating a site that will only use Grid View for browsing topics. The traditional Forum View will not be available.
Because Grid View does not show forum descriptions, the user is left to figure out what kind of topics are contained in each forum listed in the sidebar.
I suggest you add some place in the UX to show the forum descriptions in Grid View. Maybe the sidebar should contain an info button by each forum listed. Or, maybe just a hover popup over the forum link? Or, an info button displayed by each topic in the list where it says "in forum-name"?
There has to be a good place to put forum descriptions in Grid View in such a way that it doesn't clutter the page but is obvious to the user how to view these descriptions. Maybe, a "show forum descriptions" toggle somewhere in the sidebar that expands/collapses these descriptions under the forum names in the sidebar. The default would be to hide descriptions and don't remember the toggle state for subsequent sidebar page loads.

OptimusBain reacted to Morrigan in SendGrid pathetic service and ratings!
I'm just gonna lol right out of this topic because I just can't. When services get popular they tend to start causing their own issues because they don't properly handle their own spam (not you, to me its them).
I think IPS used to integrate SparkPost and eventually it started to have a similar issue and then it went from allowing free accounts to not allowing free accounts. I also think they had another email service before that NGL.
Email is a sticky business, a few dozen people report your very reputable emails as spam and everything goes to hell, so I recommend you be patient with IPS as they investigate and talk to SendGrid for those that use it. Its not an overnight solution. I do ABSOLUTELY, recommend @stoo2000's bounce mail application as it does save both money and heartache with garbage emails, deleted emails, etc which can cause much of this heartache.
