  1. Probably not the solution you're looking for but you could always place the offending member into a group whose postings require moderation approval before showing to the membership at large.
  2. This is a Schrödinger's cat isn't it? If it hasn't been published yet, how can it be viewed?
  3. Thanks. I do see now that by hovering over that thread from the forum listing page, that it indeed gives your link.
  4. Thanks Nate. Not sure I'm following you though. I click your link and I get the following screen (I am logged in). Unless that is a topic that is for administrative staff only... or something like that. Your link has the Topic number as 471110 while that thread I linked to is, 471004. Regardless, if a comment was moved out of that thread, why is it showing as not read when I have read the thread. I apologize for my ignorance here.
  5. After reading the thread, "Invision Insight: 17 days until Christmas!" which Gary posted to overnight, I am getting that same sub marked as unread again. None of the other threads in that sub have been posted to since Saturday.
  6. As a trouble shooting attempt, could you have that user turn off the 'Power Saving' function on their phone and see if that alters the experience?
  7. Thank you for the timestamps on the Chat. Greatly appreciated.
  8. Unsure Mark. As stated I ignored it before but now that I see it persisting, thought I would mention it. Could it be a cache when only that sub does it?
  9. All topics are read yet the icon says there are unread topics. I have noticed this previously but didn't give it much thought until it began happening again of late. It is the only sub that does this on this site so I don't believe it to be a browser issue. Just musing here but, could be hidden threads causing the issue?
  10. All browsers have different ways in which you are able to control certain aspects, which is why I asked. For example, if you are using Chrome, here is how you set it so that cookies are removed when closing the browser. This will clear cookies from all sites. On your computer, open Google Chrome. At the top right, click More. Settings. Click Privacy and security. Cookies and other site data. Turn on Clear cookies and site data when you close all windows. If you're synced to Chrome, sync will pause when you quit your Chrome browsing session. A simple google search will explain how to do so on other browsers.
  11. It looks quite nice. On your Demo page, can you place one of those blocks in the sidebar as well, so we can get a feel for it in that position? TYIA
  12. This would be a great way to structure threads within a forum. It would allow for organic tangential discussions to form and users to go down that road if desired or to remain with the main topic at hand. I am guessing there would have to be some form of button within the editor interface that would allow the user to respond tangentially or topically. Additionally, Moderators should have abilities to move posts along the stream. Tree of Thought Structure Image 1: Image 2
  13. Glad to hear that you have it working. On that note... I have altered my templates within the app to change certain colors so it can be done and still work. I am pretty much a noob when it comes to code but by reading through this thread and the previous incarnation, I was able to customize the templates to where they are customized to my liking. Hope you are able to get it worked out.
  14. For a little more context. two users are reporting a Samsung device(s) and a Cubot 9, both run Android OPSYS.
  15. I have a couple members who have had issues with different functions (not all related to the issue here) not working properly, such as email notifications for items they may be following. Turning off the 'battery optimization' (which was recommended course of action by a developer) has seemingly fixed their issues (I know, doesn't make a whole lot of sense).
  16. Thanks, much appreciated. Also appreciate the caveat that it is not solely the result of the App. Here is my quandary (I would appreciate your thoughts if you're so inclined). I have spent a considerable amount of time and effort on my SEO, myself. I have it where I am consistently ranked top #2 for the top ten keywords in my niche. Attaining the #1 position anytime soon in those rankings is not really feasible with the other considerations #1 possesses. I shouldn't complain too hard here though, being within the initial viewport is quite okay at this moment. So armed with that understanding and information, I believe I am better served at this point by trying to expand the ranking of other various keywords. However, it is my belief that due to the hierarchy of those other keywords, it would entail considerable more effort to get near the same impact as the energy expended to attain the ranking within those top ten keywords. If I am understanding this tool correctly, it would make those subsequent efforts less than they would normally otherwise would be. Additionally, not sure I understand all the operations and desired settings but, as has already been displayed, I'm sure reasonable help would be forth coming. I have not figured out Google News and Google Discover yet but my understanding is slowly improving. One last question for now I guess. This is stated as being for 4.7.x, what happens when 4.8.x comes out? Thanks for your attention here Daniel, much appreciated.
  17. I would be curious to see if anyone has metrics from before using this plugin to metrics after it being implemented. I'm sure there is no doubt it works, I guess my question is to what extent it works. I understand that the quantitative degree it works is dependent upon the site itself, it's niche and activity levels, I'm just curious on any metrics to support the app is all. Thanks.
  18. Earlier posts here have stated that it was the Samsung browser causing this issue on a S22. By adding the Brave browser to the equation on the S22, it would seem to lend to the issue possibly being on the S22 itself.
  19. Second time I've seen you post this. Might just be me but I don't want to exclude any opinions. The discussion here is robust because everyone is allowed to give their perspective. Just because you don't agree is no reason to shut down the opposing side.
