  1. I'm by no means disputing what you say here. I will say however that I have used software in the past that has had what one might term, 'a ghost in the machine.' That is not to say that this is happening here, only that that memory still lives.
  2. I and others have reported this issue previously, somewhere within these forums. In my instance, it affected several members for a period, and seems to have corrected itself. I also have one member who still experiences this issue across several browsers.
  3. In the ACP, I can set the default Album Sort Order. However as is an option with Database settings sections in the ACP, I am unable to delineate the actual order. ie; Ascending (0-9) or Descending (9-0). Adding the ascending/descending option would help to order the albums in a further delineated, desired order. Thank you for your consideration.

  5. Previously, there was a setting where you could stipulate the number of posts within a specified time period. That changed at some point. There are other threads on this same topic you may want to search.
  6. Is is possible to allow for the Community Experts function to only operate in specific forums?
  7. Not sure if this is what you're talking about or not but... It's not a perfect solution (it's pretty good though), but if you have the article post to a forum as a thread, comments are then also copied to the Article and comments posted to the article will copy to the Thread.

  9. Thank you. I do see a use case for including html within them though. As an example, one may want to direct users to a different location. I don't know if there is a way to implement a work around or not, but I would definitely like to have this ability. Cheers.
  10. I swear, I'm not trying to spam the board... With the Feature Post function, I notice that the enabled Featured Replies block at the top of every page contains no html that is included in the original post. Is this by design or an oversight? Thanks.
  11. Short of Adriano's App, you could set up a group promotion in the ACP. It would be where you set all new registrations to be placed into a new user group that has no private messaging abilities. Then after "x" amount of posts, you would set rules for group promotions to move them into a different user group.

  13. Is it possible to add custom colors to the Editor? I do believe it is possible to edit certain parts of the editor, having read through this entire thread once awhile back but, if someone could help me out here, it would be appreciated.
  14. Currently, the Database Navigation block, if placed in the sidebar, will prevent the sidebar, and all other blocks within that sidebar, from sticking. I'm not sure if this was simply missed or by design. It would be great if this block, like the other blocks, had the ability to stick within the sidebar. Thank you for your consideration.

  20. I didn't think so but wanted to be sure, thank you. Also, I had edited my post to ask about the upgrade and whether or not it will be a stable version and not a beta release. I assume it will be a stable version but again, just want to be sure with a live environment.
  21. Is a ticket recommended or can one just follow the prompts via the Client Area? I only ask because I updated one of my sites via the prompts in the Client Area and will be doing so with another site in the near future. And if I do it via the prompts, it will upgrade to a stable release and not the latest Beta, correct? Thanks.

  23. With v4, I regularly ran into the, There are no applications available to upgrade page. Which usually was corrected by backing the page up and then reasserting. This is the first I have run into the issue with v5. I don't know what the problem is but it does seem to be persistive (is that even a word?). It would help the anxiety levels here greatly, when it comes to upgrading, if it could be looked at and resolved. Not that you don't have a lot of other things on your plate...
  24. Thank you, I see that it is. I would just like to say that, for whatever reason, upgrading is always anxiety packed. For me at least, it rarely is a smooth action.
