  1. As mentioned, you can change notification settings for new members in ACP -> Members -> Notifications. Existing members would go to Account Settings -> Notification Settings. Account Settings is on the front-end in the topic right when they click their display name.
  2. I cannot read the language there. Individual users would need to change their existing notification settings in Account Settings -> Notification Settings. You can change the notifications for new users in ACP -> Members -> Notifications.
  3. While I understand you believe there is an issue there, there are no others encountering issues there. We deal with communities in the millions of posts and members and they are not having the issue either. Without further information pointing towards a specific problem, we cannot investigate the issue further. If you would like to provide us access to your installation, we can further investigate there but short of getting some guided approach that we were hoping for from the Slow Query log, it may be something completely specific to your community.
  4. If the user posted that message on the user who received the email's profile, they would correctly receive a notification. The only other way would be if the user who received the notification followed the user who posted the status update. This can be managed from the Notification Settings.
  5. Unfortunately, there is no evidence of this happening. If this was the case, we'd be seeing something here with the slow query log or some other means of logging. I would advise upgrading to the latest release though as there have been some performance upgrades since the release you mentioned there.
  6. As long as the pricing of your Subscription is not set to lifetime, the subscription will issue a renewal. Whether or not payment is automatically taken would depend on your payment method and the settings you have configured for it. For example, PayPal would need to use what they call Billing Agreement/Subscriptions. You have the option for to allow the user to opt into automatic payments, force automatic payments, or not allow automatic payments. For Stripe, the user must agree to leave their credit card details on file (with Stripe) in order for automatic payments to work. If they do not opt in to automatic payments or you do not allow them, the user would need to manually pay the issued invoice.
  7. If you add any text in the post with the YouTube video does the video post?
  8. We have assisted you in your ticket 🙂 .
  9. I would advise turning on slow queries in your MySQL server to see what may be happening here.
  10. That would be an individual author and not related to us.
  11. As Gary mentioned, if the user is clears browser cookies and data when closing the browser, they will need to login again.
  12. Would suggest addressing the items in ACP -> Support -> Database. Then re-assess what is happening here with loading these topics.
  13. Are you receiving an error message when trying to load the page or is it just a plain white page? If the latter, this may be a suppressed PHP error and we would need the error log from your server. If you are not getting a plain white page, please place the URL which you're having problems with in the notes section of the access details area of the Client Area, we can then assist. Please see instructions below: We would need to look further into this for you, however the access details on file appear to be incorrect or missing. Could you please update these details by visiting your client area, selecting the relevant purchase, then clicking "Review/Update Access Information" under the "Stored Access Information" section. We look forward to further assisting you.
  14. Keep in mind the error alert is indicating that background tasks also could not be running as frequently as they should. As you are running a server in a home environment, it could be that something stopped running temporarily enough to trigger this. For instance, I have a test instance running MAMP on my computer and when I log in, I get the same error but that's because I shut my computer down every night so when the test instance is running again, the system sees that the tasks aren't running frequently enough and displays the error. That is expected because I shut my computer down.
  15. This was received this time and replied to. Thanks.
  16. You would need to download plugins now from corresponding authors. The Marketplace no longer exists. Is that what you're asking?
  17. Glad we could help out!
  18. I'm afraid, we have not received any more information from you.
  19. Possibly owner user/group permissions on it or the recursive directory were causing issues but glad to hear it's working and thanks for commenting on what it was.
  20. If you think you found security issues, please feel free to use the contact us link at the bottom of the page.
  21. Keep in mind that compatible just means it will run, it does not mean it will be performant. However, I have tagged a developer to see if they have any recommendations.
  22. It would be recommended to update to MySQL 8. The optimization really shouldn't impact you that much as it was removed to offer better performance in MySQL 8 and across the board.
  23. Is it always high or only high during certain periods? Have you disabled any third party applications/plugins/themes to see if there is any correlation? Do you have any background tasks running? Have you gotten with your hosting provider to check all items on the server? While I understand you are trying to correlate this to the upgrade, correlation does not always equal causation so you must investigate it all.
  24. Anything which is implemented by a third party application would need to be supported by that third party application to work. This is not a native feature so it is outside our scope of support.
  25. Thanks for clarifying. I have transferred this to a ticket so that we can investigate this more closely. Please watch your email for further correspondence.
