  1. Hello, I am looking for all steps I need to do to leave Invision Community. - have a sub domain set up, need to use that on another platform, anything that you need to do on your end? - how do I ensure I will not be automatically billed again? - how do I remove any and all traces of data from the past few years of attempting to build my community. and if anyone cares I can gladly explain privately to staff, why I wish to leave after spending money on this for a long time without successfully launching my community. thanks
  2. Is this something that can be done in the code of my specific site or if I pay extra for it? Or Can the default option be changed? Currently it defaults to United States. Seems like a drop down option menu that should be able to be modified, unless it pulls this option for everyone’s sites and is not specific to mine. I’m just struggling so much trying to find a way to limit my community and paying customers to only Canada. Any thought would be appreciated.
  3. Hello friends. Is it possible to eliminate options from the country drop down field to only have one country listed? I am looking at only offering my membership to a specific country and if I can modify this it would eliminate confusion on sign ups. I’m thinking there may be code somewhere to change this. thanks
  4. Hello wonderful staff. In my excitement for V5 I am wondering if you could provide us with the ideal images sizes for any sections that will allow us to add them as topic covers, course covers, etc…. I would love to be able to create templates for all the different image sizes that would be best for V5. I will be using Canva to create a master template and could even possibly share the templates with others. If you have a list of the image areas and ideal sizes that would be great. thanks
  5. Hey 👋, anyone know if choosing Minimal UI in the Web App settings will show a Navigation bar on the bottom of IPhones when people have the web app set up on thier phones? I am doing some testing and don’t see a difference between standalone and Minimal. I love the idea of push notifications, but not having a back button when someone is viewing the forums is not great. secondly if I set the display mode to browser, would push notifications still be available? thanks
  6. Sorry just found out that it must be a cookie or cache thing. I opened my site in a private window then it let me add as a PWA to my Home Screen. All good 👍
  7. I seem to have the same issue as above. It Will only add my site as a bookmark. I don’t use and third party stuff or plugins that I’m aware of. I can install PWA’s with this community and others using Invision. Any help would be appreciated. thanks 😊
  8. Is it possible to sell subscriptions only to Canada?
  9. Just want some more information about how Stripe works with subscriptions when it comes to taxes. Stripe has "Stripe Tax" which helps you manage your tax codes and will correctly determine the tax amounts and rules based on customer location. When I set up Stripe as my payment method, and someone makes a subscription purchase on my community, once they get to the payment part, are the customers actually checking out with the Stripe system? and will it incorporate the Stripe Tax system if it is set up in stripe correctly? I have read the walkthrough on setting it up in CP and will have no issue with that part but I am new to using payments, API and web hooks, so any info on the flow of the payment would be great! Thanks
  10. Hey, @Marc Stridgen, Thanks. I am now playing around with creating memberships using products instead of subscriptions. This looks to be a better option because then I can limit the stock of the Original Members to 250. Just to confirm, after stock runs out and their free term is up, say after 1 year, they can renew at the set-up renewal rate regardless of stock, correct? Also I can force the 2 different plans on registration and once the stock runs out on the Original Members plan I can hide it from the store an registration correct? It also appears that by having them choose a membership product, I can attach them to specific groups, is this also correct? I have been paying for this platform and working on this site since May of 2021, and I am so close to launching and excited. Just need to work out the membership and payments portion - Your help is greatly appreciated Thanks
  11. Hello everyone, (some context) I am almost ready to launch my new private Community using Invision Community. I understand how to make different member groups and tiers of subscribers, but I would like to do a slow or silent launch that allows me to have members sign up for the regular-priced subscription, for example, $49 per year, and these people will be known as "Members." At the same time, I would also secretly (not available to the public) like to offer 250 subscriptions to friends and friends of friends for a special price, for example, Free for one year, then $19.99/year. We will name these members "Original Members." (I know how to set up the subscriptions and attach them to the members type.) Important to Note: I am setting up this Community to be totally private unless you are a subscriber. Non-subscribers will not have access to anything. My Question Where I need help is... How can I only list the regular "Member" subscription for the public to see and still somehow invite 250 friends to participate and have them subscribe using the special "Original Member" offer? Ultimately, I would love to be able to give them a code, send them a link, or some other option to access the special "Original Member" Subscription pricing without that plan being public. Let me know your thoughts or if I need to clarify my thoughts. Thanks
  12. I did just find some stuff under the features section of the menu that is more of what I am looking for.
  13. Thanks. I was looking for something geared more towards the users rather than the admins/owners. I am thinking of creating a user guide for members that sign up. Maybe even a free course in the site that can walk new members through all of the awesome features of the platform. Examples: how to set up your profile, how to turn on 2 factor authentication, how to adjust notifications, how is your reputation awarded, how to earn badges, etc….
  14. Just checking to see if anyone made a user guide for new members to walk them through how to use all the community features. thanks
