  1. To utilize with a theme, you would want to include it in the theme rather than Pages. The Pages method is really only for Pages.
  2. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.
  3. Root-level categories are like the foundation, exterior walls, and roof of a house. Without it, your forums would be scattered, just like you and your belongings would be without the foundations of your house. At most basic explanation, root-level categories help you organize your forums/sub-forums into categories so that your users can find them better. In example, take the "Support" category here on our community, it helps categorize the 3 support-esc forums here: https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/forum/180-support/ As you have only 1 forum there, the software would simplify that down for ease of viewing. Otherwise, the user would have to click into "Builders" to see anything, which is unnecessary . You cannot as "Pickle" is your root-level category.
  4. Comedy & Tragedy can be a discussion forum or category, whatever you choose. You just need to add sub-forums to it to obtain what Randy did here. Movies, TV and Streaming services, Music, Opera, and Live Theater & Broadway are all sub-forums o Comedy & Tragedy. The only thing to remember here is that a forum cannot be a root level element, only a category can be.
  5. That is incorrect. The category is out of scope of the screenshot taken. In the screenshot quoted below, from his ACP, you can see the category is "Media & Entertainment". As mentioned, "Comedy & Tragedy" is a discussion forum at the same level as your “New Homes” or “Builder” forums
  6. Please see the following Guide on how to utilize custom Javascript/CSS in Pages:
  7. If you want to provide us the instructions, we can enable/disable the correct field here.
  8. Believe there is some confusion here because this is what Randy did. Randy’s “Comedy & Tradegy” is at the same level as your “New Homes” or “Builder” forums. Not your “Pickles” category. You would simply need to add a sub-forum to either of those forums to get that display.
  9. You would just merely wait for your renewal then and your account credit will pay it 😉 .
  10. You would need to ensure you are installing at exactly the same URL which is on file for your license. Could you please provide the URL you're attempting to install at?
  11. It would not be possible to have New Homes and Builders to be displayed like a sub-forum do. This has been the explanation provided above. If you add a sub-forum to New Homes or Builders, you will get the arrow notation for those sub-forums. Categories do not house topics; they are just containers for forums (which house topics).
  12. The release you're on has numerous bugs and issues, including the one you just reported. Upgrading would resolve that and also bring you inline and capable of receiving support should you have any further issues. You cannot renew before your renewal is generated, I'm afraid. However, you can add account credit to your account and future invoices will pull from that. This can be done in Client Area -> My Details -> Account Credit.
  13. Please upgrade to the latest release and this should fix your release warning. If it doesn't, please let us know. Your license does not expire till February 19th.
  14. In Randy’s example, “Media and Entertainment” is his parent category and “Comedy & Tragedy” is the child discussion forum.
  15. Nexus is Commerce so you would need to find your corresponding action there to what you want to have happen
  16. You set "New Home..." as your parent (root-level) category and then "New Home" (no ...) as a discussion forum under it as a child forum. You always need a parent category to group discussion forums. A discussion forum cannot exist otherwise.
  17. You would want to work with your hosting provider to figure out what is happening here. There is something happening upon processing the image on your server causing the corruption. For what it's worth, I uploaded the image provided with GD to my test instance and had no issues.
  18. We would need to look further into this for you, however the access details on file appear to be incorrect or missing. Could you please update these details by visiting your client area, selecting the relevant purchase, then clicking "Review/Update Access Information" under the "Stored Access Information" section. We look forward to further assisting you.
  19. Would agree with @Adriano Faria, might be time to evaluate new providers (if you want to evaluate our Cloud, please let us know and we can get you in touch with our sales team). Also, not to rub salt in fresh wounds but testing backup strategies (even those run by your hosting provider) are always a good idea (we do that quite regularly).
  20. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.
  21. This error code is not our own so you would want to disable all third-party applications/plugins then try again.
  22. Everyone who has subscribed and meets the filters you set.
  23. You would want to find the corresponding URL of your community there and change it from http to https. That is the basic gist there. Depending on when your software was installed, you may have a slightly different conf_global.php setup.
