  1. That looks to simply be how your browser (or the app there) is encoding those characters. That is not a software issue per say, Iโ€™m afraid.
  2. Ah, gotcha. OK, please let us know if it does seem to stop or encounter errors. Sometimes these processes can take time. I'm afraid, we never allowed that in our background processes. The system manages it and the importance.
  3. Did you encounter any errors in your browser console when you are running that?
  4. Likely require some form of customization in your Pages templates or Pages page itself to account for what you want there. It isn't a feature in the core feature to just show a logged out page to everyone.
  5. Would likely want to resolve the error, not disable the System Log in this case (itโ€™s not possible to disable it, Iโ€™m afraid). It is more likely an error or a flooding of your system log causing the impact to your server than the System Log itself. What error is being logged?
  6. Typically, would indicate that the time is off, not the time zone. Even if this is off by a few seconds, it would trigger this error warning as third party services may reject this. Have you tried to check the connection from your server to our website here at invisioncommunity.com ?
  7. You can upgrade to PHP 8.0 or 8.1 and be on 4.7.1, yes. However, you would want to review your third-party applications, plugins, and theme(s) for compatibility.
  8. As others have mentioned, you have outgrown your hosting so would need to upgrade it to the appropriate size for your traffic.
  9. Glad to hear you figured it out ๐Ÿ™‚
  10. Google Adsense would view your community as a guest (non logged in user) so if a guest doesnโ€™t have access to the page, neither does Google Adsense. Iโ€™m afraid, there are no means in Invision Community to get them a logged in view.
  11. Your members would need to opt in to file updates. As mentioned, following would no longer give you file update notifications, it would give you comment/review notifications for downloads.
  12. Correct. As mentioned though, that is different than how a Follow on the download file itself will only notify you of comments/reviews. If you want File Updates, you would need to opt into that on the file and then need to go to Account Settings -> Notification Settings to set how you wish to receive those notifications. It is not an ACP setting that you need to enable, it's automatically enabled like the Follow System, you only have to opt-in at a user level to receive notifications. If you want to see the default settings you are providing your users at the admin level, you would do this in ACP -> Members -> Notifications. The author of a downloads file cannot opt in to receive notifications about updates.
  13. Following on Downloads Files would send you updates about when there is a new comment or review. Whereas the "File (Version) Updates" would send you a notification when there is a new file update. This is the Notification Setting: On the Downloads page: Just a note, you can't opt into these for your own files.
  14. The answer would still be the same. You need to contact your hosting provider to obtain the web server error logs for that error. Till you have those, you will not know the issue.
  15. You would need to confer with your hosting provider.
  16. Please ensure youโ€™re accessing the error logs on your server. Not in our software.
  17. If your server updates the folders correspondingly, yes. You can confirm with your hosting provider. Only they would be able to answer that completely. You can get the system's recommendation in ACP -> System -> Advanced Configuration but that would not be taking down your community.
  18. You would need to contact your hosting provider for what the 500 Internal Server Error is that you're seeing. If it's coming and going, it may be related to the database or other service. The question mark there is a missing image, you would need to contact your hosting provider as to why the image is missing.
  19. If you uploaded the file into your installation root directory, it would just be {your base url}/ips4.php Replace {your base url} with your base URL for your community.
  20. Keep in mind sometimes, these things are completely dependent on the services you're using and how much they go by OG strictly or grab images on their own ๐Ÿ˜‰ .
