  1. We would need to know where exactly it did not work for you. An example where you have placed this and its not working. The database filter block is exactly for that purpose
  2. You would use the "Database filters" block or this. Please take a look at the following guide, which shows how to use blocks on your site https://invisioncommunity.com/4guides/how-to-use-ips-community-suite/first-steps/using-the-block-manager-r309/
  3. With the tags, please check that one a default unaltered theme and test to see if that works. It looks like you are hitting a bug there. With the links, I would need to know what link you used and where you posted it. It looks to be like its being pulled by the site you are posting it on, rather than something your site is doing
  4. What browser and OS are you using there? Just so I can test in the same environment
  5. It seems you already have that set at present. Have you changed that since?
  6. Glad to hear you resolved the issue 🙂
  7. Yes. Its purpose is that you can run it and see what is compatible. So its designed to do just that
  8. You need to restore your database again. Its missing default values on tables, which is causing you the problem.
  9. Please test on the default theme also. That area has changed if you are using the beta, so a custom theme may indeed have an impact
  10. If its set to email by digest I mean. If its set to immediate notification, then yes they will change as there isnt actually any setting for specific items. There is only a notification setting on account settings. However there is a digest setting for weekly etc. Those would not change
  11. Yes, that is correct. There would be no way in which to change preferences on items which are already followed
  12. It means that all members notification settings in their account settings section will have their default set to the sites default. It will not amend anything they are already following, but all future items would follow the new default
  13. You would upload a fresh set of files from your client area, which would include the new files for forum. Once this is done, you will see it available to install from System->Site Features->Applications, within your admin CP
  14. I can move this to our community support area in case there are others that can assist there.
  15. You have a lot of problems with your servers setup on PHP 8.1 there by the look of it. As mentioned above, those arent related to our platform. The init.php file is actually the only file there that is part of our platform at all and even that error message is referring to something outside of the software
  16. No problem. 🙂
  17. That's not a question we can really answer. The answer depends on your own mail server
  18. No problem at all 🙂
  19. These are running through, so would just leave it to process now. It looks like its had a time out from your server
  20. Its not the patch in your case. It looks like the background task is simply timing out. Running them through now to see if there are any other issues. Please bear with me
  21. I will respond on your other topic
  22. No problem. Thank you for letting us know
  23. You would need customisation in order to change the way in which they appear on the 'our picks' section by default, or pick an image which suits the 'our picks' location
  24. You would only be able to translate items that are on the version you are using. You would not be able to translate the new phrases on the old system
  25. In the first instance, please go to support in the top right and make sure its not showing "Optional update" on there. If it is, you need to run that patch to resolve the problem
