  1. 8.1 yes, but not 8.0. Its likely you were missing requirements. I would suggest upgrading first, and then checking everything, then upgrading to PHP 8
  2. The only way to do so would be to switch to it then run the requirement checker. You can of course ensure your server is running the minimum requirements for PHP 8 before switching it, and check with the authors of any 3rd party items before doing so
  3. Please could you clarify? You have disabled them already, or that resolved the issue? The issue you are seeing, I have seen when there are issues with database connectivity, or PHP session handlers
  4. To be honest, its actually been quite a stable release considering the changes that have been made on the platform. Of course waiting till x.x.1 is fine, and many people do.
  5. It seems you hadnt responded here, but the error itself looks to be wrong theme on the wrong version. Have you since resolved this as we are not seeing any problems any longer?
  6. You would download it from our servers, then upload it to yours
  7. No problem. Glad to hear you had the issue resolved. While they are disabled, that doesnt remove the files themselves. In this case, it was a file causing an issue. Im not sure on the conclusion you have come to with the release. It was only released 2 hours ago
  8. If you have modified the default theme, then that would be custom. Please try one more thing. Go to System->Site Features->Applications and disable an application, then enable that application again. It doesnt matter which
  9. This has been resolved in the latest release. Please upload a fresh set of files from your client area, then visit /admin/upgrade again
  10. Unfortunately your FTP is not working correctly. It cannot be listed. Please respond on your ticket/email, rather than here.
  11. I have created a ticket on this for you. However your access details are incorrect. Please update those, then respond to the ticket once you have done this
  12. I have added a flag for developers to take a look at this and advise
  13. This sounds related to your other reports, so have added notes to this effect. That way both can be tested at the same time. Thank you for reporting
  14. You can create a trial, which will allow you to test all features https://invisioncommunity.com/clientarea/free-trial/
  15. You havent explained what you have changed there. I would however say that the file you are changing has been used for many years, and is used in every upgrade and install. Its very very unlikely that calculation is incorrect
  16. As mentioned in the link that has been posted there, it really depends on what you are looking to use it for. You can do considerably more with the pages application, whereas blog is just a blog.
  17. You cant at present. This is a known issue we are in the process of fixing. The only way around it currently is to bypass the check as shown in the link above
  18. If you take a look in System->Settings->Posting, you will see if you have it set to closed tagging there. If you do and dont have any set, this would indeed be causing your issue
  19. I have moved this to our developer area for you, as this is custom development rather than standard support.
  20. That would explain why I couldnt replicate it. Thank you for letting us know 🙂 In reality, that is a very very niche scenario there and not something I would really see as being a bug. For example, if you didnt have PHP installed, the file wouldnt run at all 🙂
  21. Please visit just /admin/upgrade and remove anything after that. If you are then still having the same issue, you would need to contact your hosting company on that one, as that would be a hosting issue unfortunately. Please also ensure you remove that line, once you have completed the upgrade
  22. Whether or not you can download a video is dependent on the browser (and plugins). While you could potentially add that line, as you mention, thats simply telling the browser not to add a download button. The reality is however, if the video is there, its able to be downloaded if the knowledge is there to do so
  23. In the first instance, please check with "acknowledged" set, as that is not showing as nullable in the documentation.
  24. Please let us know if you have any further issues. Glad to see that seems to have resolved the problem
  25. If you can PM me a couple of topic titles, I can take a look see if its likely anything can be done with those. But if you are chasing bugs on topics from a conversion so long ago, there is no promise we will be able to resolve those. Please send them first of all so we can evaluate
