The new version is pending approval:
Added anonymous voting. Ability to vote negatively. Highlighted the support theme button. Ability to create and change statuses. Fixed some bugs.

@AlexWebsites Hi no I haven't tried that method, it was available when I moved to Ezoic. It's probably a less resource intensive method than setting cookies, and saves the issues around cookie deletion. I'll have to take a further look when I have time. Cheers

I've recently moved one of my sites over to Ezoic. It was pretty easy through cloudflare. I had to disable some of the JS, CSS and minify settings under LEAP though, because of issues.  For disabling ads to subscriber groups, have you tried setting a meta tag under disable ads by page? Create a meta tag and then wrap it to show only for certain user groups you don't want to show ads to. Create the name and content, something like:
    {{if member.inGroup('x')}} <meta name="ezoicstopads" content="subscribers" /> {{endif}}

hi, I noticed throughout the years that you have Forums app pushed down below here on company forums and it gets annoying to access my own posts and topics - you have to scroll down to the very bottom of profile. How about pushing it a bit to the top, huh?

Most likely a spam bot without an account, posting a message, and then being sent the “continue registering…” email to the fake email address. Happens a lot!
Also the application will properly handle the bounce if the email is not an actual member account!

Yes, I think the issue is that I prune my settings every 7 days which applies to all logs, so if an email bounced last month, I have no way of searching it quickly via logs or a search. Thanks!

Have you set them up using AWS’ SNS service? Directions are found in the app description. Every time AWS sends a notification to your IPB community, a log will be entered!
As for the prune settings and search functionality, no problem!

I use both and they run independently of each other. Newsletters uses your sending method and this AWS app changes the default sending method. Works fine.

A quick idea : admins and moderators should be exempted from automatic bounces actions : if for some reason the mail server was to bounce for admins, admin accounts may be flagged as spammer or disabled which could end up in the ACP being unaccessible to anyone...
This would be very bad :).

Unfortunately we have no way of knowing unless one of our clients who utilizes both apps can report their success.
However, we have built our app in a way that doesn’t “reinvent the wheel” but uses IPBs core email sending functionally. So unless some app took drastic measures to send email a different way, I’d imagine they play well together.
Great idea. That would definitely be an issue!

    Discord has its place.
It's a great tool if you're just starting a community and want to see if there's a need, or you want a semi-asynchronous chat that focuses on a 24-48 hour time window.

However, we have a mature support community so it's less useful. We want to encourage thoughtful posts that have a life beyond a few days. We want others to find these topics from search engines and we want to build a crowdsourced knowledgeable for Invision Community.
If we were to create an official Discord, it would create a brain drain and instead of us being able to look back and look at feature request trends, or customers being able to search for answers to their questions we have a 'here and now' relatively informal chat room.

I agree and when looking at different platforms for whatever, I always look at third party apps and integrations for expansion. A healthy 3rd party marketplace tells a story of a healthy platform in my opinion.

Too bad it wasn’t tested enough when it was added in 4.6.2. It’s a really nice feature if it works.

It is a bit annoying especially if you don't upgrade right away. Once is enough or maybe a little message by the version # saying "upgrade available". This huge announcement type banner on the front end and back end is overkill. I would pay for a plugin to eliminate that.

Seeing the same message (or messages) every day even though I dismissed the same message the previous day is supremely annoying.  Unfortunately, it's not always easy to just upgrade your forum when such a message appears.  Smaller forums, sure, but when you have a large forum with a custom theme (as well as third-party themes) and various third-party plugins and applications (many of which were custom jobs written for your forum), it's non-trivial to just update your forum on a whim, especially with major revisions of the software.  I know I need to upgrade the forum, I don't need to be reminded every single time I visit my forum or ACP.

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback guys!
@Nathan Explosion I've fixed the "Our Community" issue and the user panel is no longer John Cena-ing. The user area seemed a little crowded on laptops, so I guess the Create menu was removed for a more aesthetic reason rather than a functional reason. It gives the user area a little more breathing room and prevents the navigation from collapsing into unnecessary dropdown menus. If this is mentioned more often though, I'll be happy to revisit it 🙂
@Adriano Faria The create menu should now be working correctly on mobiles. I added a "home icon" to the mobile navigation bar which takes you back to the forum index page. I thought it might be confusing if the logo took you to different places depending on what page you were viewing.
@Ocean West Nice suggestion - I've added your default Activity Stream to the "Our Community" dropdown menu. It'll be "Unread Content" by default, unless you've adjusted it for your account.

The updated version is now available, thanks for your patience 🙂
That is not correct. As noted in our previous conversation about it, this was because your emails were failing to send through SES and a query Invision Community was running to update a flag on failed emails was taking a long time (due to the large number of failed emails).

On php8, it prevents me from logging into the ACP and completing new user registration on the front end so I had to disable it.
