It's probably better to replace "today" with "every day" in the gif.

Mark H reacted to Adriano Faria in 4.7.0 Beta available now
What’s the plugin name? Once you know, use any FTP software to access the /plugins folder and find its folder. It’s the one related to the plugin name. Once you find it, click on it and go to /hooks folder. Download the files inside this folder and find the onde with the function name parseTextForEmail. You will notice that this file has 2 parameters in that function. It now has 3. Add a , (comma) and what I posted above. Save and re upload the file.
If you never did that, you better ask someone to do it for you.

Mark H reacted to CheersnGears in 4.7.0 Beta available now
Ah! I didn't know where to find the hooks.php!
It turned out to be the Limited E-mail Content plug-in by @Fosters, which he says is no longer needed in 4.6, however, it seems to have an additional feature to strip HTML from the e-mail (prevents being flagged by SendGrid for spam links if a spammer gets in). So I made the changes you instructed @Adriano Faria and it works fine now.
Thanks to everyone who chipped in to help! Very much appreciated.
Look @Matt! I'm a PHP dev now! 🤣

Thank you.
I've flagged this topic for dev review, to see if there is a way to accomplish what you want without complex CSS (which, in another topic, was suggested as the only way to do this right now).

Mark H reacted to Matt in Hump Day: new live community features
While many in this topic are experienced and capable server administrators, a high number of our customers are not. A good amount of support we manage is to do with CDNs, Redis, Elasticsearch, etc where server configurations are incorrect, the service is badly set up or unsupported versions are used.
I'm not here to debate the technical ability of our customers, though. There is more to sentiment analysis than just fetching the numbers from an AI service. What we are interested in are trends over time, and for that we have separate architecture running Python, which is the most efficient language when it comes to raw math, aggregating and making sense of the data which is sent back directly into the cloud platforms database; there is actually very little product code for this reason.
Even simple things like pulling the data and sending it to AWS for processing isn't done via CRON or a task, we use a custom task runner within our cloud platform to do it. It's more efficient to develop this way.
I realise we haven't spoken much about our cloud platform, but there's more to it than just using the AWS SDK in the product code.

Mark H got a reaction from Balto in Non-InnoDB tables
Make sure you perform a full database backup before you delete any tables, but once you've done so, you can delete any tables that start with "pre_" (note the underscore), then just wait to see if anything suddenly isn't working.
It's really not possible to predict what may happen after that, since no one knows how those tables were created, or by what process they were.

Perfect answer! Thank you Mark!

Mark H got a reaction from BenK in Moving Server Hosts
Moving servers would preserve all content, assuming the move is done correctly and that you have a good backup.
You can refer to this Guide we prepared for that:
The site would be offline while the move is in progress (you have to set the site Offline per the Guide above), but once moved everything should work fine.

Thanks for posting, and I'm sorry that you're having an issue with your Invision Community.
I'm going to need to get a little more information about your account to help, and this is best done in a private support ticket, so I have created one. Someone will correspond with you shortly.
Thank you! 🙌

IIS will not be using htaccess, and I suspect thats your issue there. We would very much recommend against using IIS for your server

Glad to know it's working for you now, too.
As to cause... I'm not on the development team, so am not certain. A dev may pipe in here.

What Jim mentioned is correct, but to add a bit more info... that setting only affects what happens when you click the topic title. (Clicking the blue dot still goes to the first unread post.)

Mark H got a reaction from David N. in Optimal site logo format and size?
The logo can be just about any reasonable size. The header size expands as needed to display it. You're constrained somewhat by width, so you don't overlap the other menus.
There's also a setting in the Theme itself to set the size as a fixed percentage.

Mark H reacted to Adriano Faria in Any way to set the global default for Account Settings :: Content View Behavior?
You can change the default option in ACP -> Members-> Profiles settings if I’m not mistaken.
